Some of the Pools are still on the wrong chain! This is the issue the coins not arriving , the Client update should have been informed well to everyone involved with the coin , I'm not sure the pool is aware of the update.

I'm setting up a node will post here once done.

Cheers! Smiley

Of course the mining pool with it's head up it's ass and ignoring a hard fork is the good guy!

I will put a notice on the front page of the site about the fork, to spread the word as much as possible.

Have you checked that your harddrive is not full? It takes some space to download the blockchain..

Thanks for your answer!

I have follow this.
How to move on to a new fork

1. Backup wallet.dat

2. Delete everything on %APPDATA%/Electric (leave wallet.dat and .conf file) (i do not had a .conf file)

3. Add new nodes to the .conf

4 Open Client and it will start to redownload the blockchain.

I had remove all files and leave only the wallet.dat file and the wallet 1.2 is sync now but he stays on the: Sync with network 81886 bloks!

my coins in the wallet are still Unconfirmed! the proces is already 2 hours!

read my previous post, you need to use the old wallet to sync to the point of the hard fork, then use the new wallet to sync the rest. you can then copy your backed up wallet file and paste it in the roaming folder. You should have all your coins and the wallet will be working.

It wasnt working when i deleted everything from the roaming folder. It didnt want to download the blockchain it stopped at block 479 or so. I had to download an older version and let it get to where the hard fork was then use the new version of the wallet to finish the sync.

Quote
I tried this with a linux version I compiled from source and it didn't work.  What a mess...

You can download the actual Blockchain here: http://uploads.altcoinfaucet.net/electric_chain.zip
Simply replace the blk* / database files.

That's quite a messy bug - not good for newcomers Sad

~Altcoinfaucet.net
Thanks! A quick solution to get past block 479 and start syncing once again.

My god, this coin is a travesty.

This "hard fork" was like changing lanes without using the indicator and being surprised when there's a 100 car pileup behind you.

I was just curious couldn't the community take over this coin? and just recompile a new wallet that works? if so we should do that as the dev isn't a supportive dev and dosnt care for this coin obviously.
