@Devianttwo Could you include [VOLT] in the topic title. It will make it easier to find.

Volt is not dead: trade volume of 0.74 BTC at cryptorush in last 24 hours, trading at 1 Satoshi. THIS IS A VERY BAD TIME FOR CRYPTOCURRENCIES, BECAUSE MT.GOX SAGA HAS SCARED AWAY THE GREAT BITCOIN INVESTORS. This gloomy time will pass away Remember that before November 2013, basically all altcoins were WORTHLESS. Clever investors will buy up all altcoins, now that they are cheap.

I haven't been able to get any clients to sync since the hardfork... built from source or otherwise. I'm out over a million of these as of right now and I haven't said anything about it over the last 48 hours expecting the dev to show up. Anyway, I'm out. Here is the report summary of the crash on his OSX version. Also built the daemon and qt client from source on linux, with no luck. I also tried what yaboymarvo tried, but I still get stuck at 479. i dont beleive so,but the new wallet is broken for new users,it doesn't sync with older blocks. I am able to fully sync with the new windows wallet. It wasnt working when i deleted everything from the roaming folder. It didnt want to download the blockchain it stopped at block 479 or so. I had to download an older version and let it get to where the hard fork was then use the new version of the wallet to finish the sync.

You can download the actual Blockchain here: http://uploads.altcoinfaucet.net/electric_chain.zipSimply replace the blk* / database files. That's quite a messy bug - not good for newcomers ~Altcoinfaucet.net

How to move on to a new fork
1. Backup wallet.dat
2. Delete everything on %APPDATA%/Electric (leave wallet.dat and .conf file)
3. Add new nodes to the .conf
4 Open Client and it will start to redownload the blockchain.
If You are still having trouble please post here and I will do everything to assist you.
Regards, Soopy

Quick question: I mined a few 100k at volt.easy-mining.net earlier today that haven't arrived in the wallet. They were withdrawn and sent 8-10 hours ago now. I was able to get the new wallet to fully sync though methods described above. The coins are out of the pool, with transaction ID's, but not showing up in the wallet yet. I've seen this turn out positively and negatively with other alt-coins. Is there a delay? Are these coins gone? and is there anything else I can try on my end? Thanks in advance.
