Cryptsy is known for pump & dumps - lets rather wait for alcurEx exchange.

It says you can CPU mine in the wallet (I know, won't get much) but I have a GPU mining to a pool, can I cpu to the pool also? If so what do I type in the console?

good question

I got an idea when the block rewards descend to 1000/block the devs should reset the nfactor back to 5 and leave it there untill asics are developed for scrypt-jane. Right now no scrypt-ASIC miners are able to hash this coin so the only thing that the nfactor is doing now is causing us to use more energy and produce more heat

actually its bringing CPU mining closer to GPU mining. Im hoping and thinking when this thing hits a higher n factor, we will have a huge influx of CPU miners that can actually make a little coin. And this will be great for the community. /crosses fingers

I dont think cpu mining would help us, we would just be getting attention from botnets

botnet are not efficient, because when CPU usage is very high with fans spinning like mad, people will find out why.
botnet excel at DDoS. Botnet owners makes lots of money by renting out their botnets to someone for DDoS purpose.

+1 on this one.
Btw people, set intensity to 11 with the new nfactor. you get roughly 80Mhash on an 280X. No hw errors.
As stated on OP page.

It says 290x just above your post.

I managed to get about 203 withouth HW errors with the commands from digitalixz's post

--scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1389028879 -d 0,1 -g 1 -w 64 -v 1 -I 18 -l 1 --thread-concurrency 51000,51000 --no-restart -Q 0 -s 1 -E 1 --gpu-powertune 30 --gpu-engine 1110,1110 --gpu-memclock 1400,1400 --scan-time 2 --expiry 4
