LemonAndFries: Look on alcurEX and navigate to MRC Market, there will be more coins in future, so don't sell all your coins now.

Bitcodo: There is a thread for microCoin mining settings: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580144.0
I will add mining instructions for both cpu and gpu mining as soon as i have time.
You also asked for block explorer: Halibit told me that he installs block explorer on new server.

Halibit: When do you have time for microCoin again? Community wants:
- Proof Of Stake (POS)
- new mining pool (can you open a pool on alcurEX?)
- mining instructions (i will do that, but you also could add them on http://microcoin.alcurex.info/)
- block explorer (ok, you already said you are moving it to new server)
- check long wallet startup time (microCoin is so fast but wallet needs very long to start)
- maybe you should add important posts to the first page of this thread Smiley

I think that are the most important things to do in the next weeks. I will also be here to support mining at N14 if it works on my rig.

Halibit or MCR, please take you some time to tell me your plans. I can't implement POS or start a mining pool, but i can always give a little support and improvement suggestions here. Thank you.

best regards,
randywald
Hi.
We just talk last day with MCR about microcoin future.

I agree each point you list.
Just hope if there is some one else who can make POS and wallet startup time fix in coin code.
If I make it, I think it will take more time...

Just wonderfull if you make mining instructions. I will add instructions on infopage. Need to update many other infos on page also.

Blockexplorer is running again but I will move it on other server.

Sure we can make own miningpool, but I have not build pool ever, so need to learn it. And pool need fulltime monitor. It would not be nice if it's down for long time.
I remember caraptsy pools. Vern has no time to keep it running so, not many use it.

Thank you for your information, halibit. Is there any person with skills for doing these jobs?

- Proof Of Stake (POS)
- check long wallet startup time

I have not much time this week but i will be back on July 19th. This day i will also add mining instructions (as i told you a few posts before) and give mining support.

Edit: Great to see some miners coming back. Read this thread and you know that halibit did a very great job last week on alcurEX.

I already have some UI improvements (new kilo-MRC and mega-MRC display units and locale currency formatting) already pushed into github.  I also fixed the merge errors in the original repo, so I don't think https://github.com/microcoinsource/microCoin_V2 is required anymore.  All should be able to use master of https://github.com/microcoinsource/microcoin.

I have mac build available at https://s3.amazonaws.com/captemulation/dmg/microCoin-Qt.dmg which I did over a month ago and tried to let alcurex dev forum, MRC and halibit know about-- but I see that there is still no Mac wallet posted at http://microcoin.alcurex.info/wallets-and-tools/ .   Would be nice to get that fixed.  I would also recommend a new Windows wallet, the UI is much easier to read especially for large MRC amounts.

I have been looking into the differences between bottlecaps and lebowskis wallets.  Lebowskis wallet forked from bottlecaps and has the exceptionally long start-up time problem.  Bottlecaps (latest wallet) appears to not have that problem.  There are a variety of changes, but am currently trying to update the lebowskis wallet to see if I can fix it's start-up problems.

Where was microcoin forked from?

Im 100% sure its forked from TIX.

MAC wallet link updated on webpage. I will tell MCR to update this thread info page. (Sorry I miss your MAC wallet so long).
Blockexplorer is now on other server and downloading data,
explorer links are still same.
I will compile your source update to win wallet
Big thanks you spend time for micro.

Oh man, I Hope you will find solution for starting time.

Hi everybody!

i'm back as i told you a few days ago.

I don't know what time exactly n-factor changes to n14, but as it might be tonight/tomorrow i decided to wait for posting new mining instructions until n-factor has changed.

Thanks to everybody who supports the mining network.

Kind regards,
randywald

We are experiencing some strange issues, trying to resolve now. Can't tell now if it is daemon fault or ours. Stratum will be shut down if no success in resolving issue soon.

Looks like all shares are getting invalid by the wallet daemon, I will investigate this issue tomorrow. Stratum will be shut down until issue resolved.

Hi, I think I found the problem with the pool, and I need someone to help me with the tests. Please point your mrc miners to:
stratum+tcp://85.9.209.40:3008 using your wallet address as username and any password.

Here[ http://85.9.209.40:8011/workers ]  you can check your stats.
