The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Any news..?
Why does the hash suddenly jump so "high"

It's mostly due to one big player '888' that is mining at Bitember:

This would suggest a company is behind it with 150Mh/s mining power. Renting something like this would cost you about 0.05 BTC on Betarigs a day. This should create about 10M Nutcoin a day, according to those stats. It could be more than this, since about 21 million Nutcoin are created each day now.

This means the current cost for creating 1M Nutcoin is 0.005 BTC or 0.5 LTC. With the current prices on Allcoin, you can buy a million Nutcoin for about 0.1 LTC. This means the current market price is five times lower than it costs to make these coins!

A logical reason is that the creation company is putting a lot of power behind the coin because they still have plans for it. It costs them about 1,5 BTC a month, so they must have some sort of a plan.

It seems the massive miner '888' has stopped and the difficulty is dropping again:

I keep coming in hoping one of these days our dev will magically reappear, but he's MIA somewhere. I still see potential in this coin, all we need is a connected dev to get it going.  Huh

I wonder if we really need the DEV. Everything is set, basically, right?

dev "dmx374" is still alive in GitHub.
After not sign for few month, his last activity was detected in last 9 days for another project (https://github.com/SwelenFrance/inherit.js)

But... nutcoin are no news and seem to be abandoned.  Angry

At least his account is still active. Smiley

I would propose coordinated Twitter campaign toward the company to force them to respond.

Who's in?

Checked out this Swelen France and it is also a subsidiary of that KWanko Group... http://www.swelen.com/?contact

I've sent a contact form through Kwanko about a month ago, but I've heard nothing in return.
