not dead. Probably around the stages that dogecoin had before.

Before the boom of the new coins right now doge was like this. We had mining that wasn't overcrowded for about a week or two? The coin just needs attention but its still growing net hashrate is still above 50MH/s

[WTS]
Hello guys,
I have 1.2M NUT to sell at a quarter current price (0.00045 according to nut law). 1'200'000*0.0001125=135$=0.16BTC (Or 6 LTC).
Smaller amount possible of course. I have a rep thread here
PM me if you're interested!

We have a 1,000,000 NUT giveaway in progress.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412505

I'm funding this from my wallet, however, we can always use more support and more than just giveaways.

Please donate to the giveaway fund to help continue the expansion of nutcoin (dont forget max xfer is 50k nutcoin but more then 1 xfer is allowed Cheesy):

I am unable to ask for donations on oc.net so The address will be posted here every page (pending post amounts Tongue) to help the continued expansion and to send members from oc.net to help aswell Cheesy!  Dev you can add to your OP if you like.

I must warn the wallet is on my personal PC you never know what could happen to my ssd. I dont expect it to die but you never know. Giveaway/bounty will be posted as soon as funds reach a good level Cheesy.

Also off topic.  Dont forget about the plan guys! dont sell those nuts yet save em up.  The difficulty is on the rise still.  Its a slow gain so far but we are just getting started.  Everyday we are still gaining speed! All we gotta do is put together a good fan base.  Once it hits exchange let the new miners set the price based on the new difficulty.  If you all dump the coins you earned back when it started nut will have a hard time getting to nutlaw.  The goal is to let the new miners set the price.  Then you can slowly get rid of your nut if youd like.  Me personally I will save as it will do nothing but go up after it hits exchange if most of us do this (new miners will hop on out of curiousity and difficulty/price will rise).

All donations Go directly to support my autistic son:

dmfree88,

We already have a 1,000,000 NUT giveaway in progress, why not donate to existing giveaway? We already have a larger pool than the proposed bounties (I've put up over 1 million so far) so there is no need to wait until funds reach a certain level to begin promoting.

I'm looking for more creative ideas on how to utilize giveaway coins.

Also, regarding the proposed bounties:

Promoting games, goods and services are far more important than new mining pools. A bounty that size would be better spent on websites accepting NUT as payment for goods or services. It is a large risk for someone to begin accepting a new coin as a form of payment, even for small items, but it is something that is required for any coin to move beyond just trading on an exchange.

Bring your OC.net friends to IRC and let's work on a plan together.

i must admit im not much into IRC where are you guys at? How do i get there?

Did you read my ideas? Yes we need services but services are much more difficult to establish quality ones.  Generally to get anything good you need to pay with a coin thats already on exchange (BTC LTC etc.).  Otherwise the risk is too high for the service.  Right now we need more ground support and pools to expand the difficulty/foundation to reach nutlaw.  This is what will attract the services.  we need to do both really.

Yes we def need services of some sort.  I just have no idea where to look for them.  My idea for the pools is to help expand to new countries by offering very large bounties to new pool owners in new countries with 10 or more miners for 1 week or longer.  and large bounties to new pool owners in general that do the same 10 miners for a week or longer.  This will give the pool owner reason to help promote nut and possibly give us new foundations in new countries.

The actual giveaways would be to new miners that post screenshots of there first deposit from mining nutcoin.  This means they must mine nutcoin to get the bonus and they must be a new user and have 1 single deposit (or 2 maybe if they just started).  Also must show pool in background with hashrate aswell maybe?  just to show everyone how much each new person is putting towards nutcoin and why they should keep it going and jump on.

This deters old users looking for freebies and atleast establishes new miners.  Once youve dedicated enough time for a deposit you generally want to stick it out for a bit to see where it goes.  This will establish a good baseline of people.

Having 2 different giveaways for nutcoin is a great thing.  Just need people funding both Cheesy.  Hopefully we have that coming in now and you and i can both help expand nutcoin to the max.

Nut is growing. According to nutlaw we're near a price of 0.0005 per nut. I saw its growth I think with the current speed (which is still growing slowly but surely) we might hit a nutlaw of 0.001 before january ends.

Also a few posts above there is a link to giveaways if I'm not mistaken.

That nutlaw means absolutely nothing if you cannot get to an exchange.  If you try to sell your Nutcoin to other people at nutlaw price, you'll be laughed at.

In fact, exchange is exactly what we do not need for now.
Maybe the best is a coin's value dictated by what we see in media, and bitcoin related news and articles?

Good news --> BTC's value multiplied.
Bad news --> BTC's value goes down.

Is this what people call a sure and stable currency?
I do not think so.

China's talking about bitcoin? hop, price divided by 3 in a few hours.
Overstock is accepting bitcoin? price is jumping ...

Nutlaw is nothing more and nothing less than a guide, an average recommended value over the years so the system stays at the equilibrium.
It is based on several parameters like electricity costs, number of coins, difficulty, number of nodes etc .. and the potential value to buy goods and services, and food.

What we do not want for a currency is a value around $1000, or around $0.00001, because in the real life, it's difficult to deal with a currency to buy a dozen eggs for 0.00456 BTC.
Nutcoin was designed to be an easy to use and simple currency, pretty close to the dollar's value, so you can buy a dozen eggs for 4.5 nut.

Nutlaw will never be a reality until we can buy real things with NutCoin, and merchants start accepting it (and it will take time)
This is what I'm committed to do in the next few years, so hold your coins and forget about online exchanges, easy money, and other craps that will kill all "altcoins", one day or another.

If you want fast and easy money, try the other 250 altcoins.
