Trays for miners (an open frame "case")

I originally came up with an idea for a simple motherboard tray for benchers made from T-slot extrusions, which has since morphed into a variant that I call a  "tray for miners."  It comes in two sizes, standard-ATX and a 4p/MEB/SWTX form factor size that features an elevated expansion card bracket and a brace for "floating" GPU mining rigs.  Prices are $110 and $120 for the ATX and 4p/SWTX sized trays, respectively.  Tops are also available for these for $40.  Please visit my website for more details and some simpler (less expensive) versions of these.

The pricing issue can probably be mitigated by replacing wood (or nothing) for the alu sheet.

They are called "t-slot extrusions."

Of course these prices may change in the future: the ATX size is $110 and the 4p/SWTX is $120.  Tops for these are also available for $40.

Congrats, really nice, it looks flawlees, very good work.

I think it could be improved if the beams (the bars) that hold the cards were a little bit higher, in order to use extenders/risers.

They can be adjusted using the screws on either side.

Since there are many noob miners these days, I though I'd resurrect this thread, especially since I've made many improvements to the original design, added an "open frame" version and now offer a very simple tray for those not using riser cables.

Here's a simpler, less expensive version ($85USD), for those mining multiple GPUs connected via ribbon cables:



The GPU support beam is included with this tray.

My only 2c would be that at that height my cards wouldn't be cool enough. (if you want to stack them)

Increasing the height of the posts would be an easy "customization."
