I have a question / suggestion.

A Dent is the equivalent of a Bitcoin satoshi, yes?  (0.00000001 [42])

I do love the choice in the new wallet to display in Dents, but is it necessary to have the decimal point and extra 0 in the display?

e.g. Mined +4200.0 Dents

Is it even possible to have a fraction of a Dent?

(Up to 29870 Dents now!)

With the current wallet a fraction of a Dent is not possible. I will work on it in the future. It might be possible to shift digits from one end to the other. There was a spot in the code to tell where the decimal point is and how many characters equals a COIN. It will take alot of testing so don't expect it within the net few weeks. Maybe in a month. I have to be sure it wont break anything.

I think if you add fractions to a dent, 42 will be just a ordinary coin with 4.200.000.000 coins and a complicated birth. Maybe think about that.

You might be right.

On the other hand, When Bitcoin is 10mil per BTC, we will be trading satoshi's. If I can modify 42 to add more decimal places, Bitcoin could be modded the same way.  Wink

An interesting thing i've noticed;
If you want a coin to have a value sameas (or above) bitcoin it needs:
max 50k max coin, 0,01 block reward, 1 min block time and no pre-mine Tongue

yup; stratum was running and accepting shares, thus blocks have been found. Additionally; we have a fair share of the hashrate. when we go down (stratum that is) the diff drops, so we find a lot of blocks when the server is back up Smiley benefit of a small network of hashers and a large market share Cheesy

so as net result, its fair to say that the downtime didnt cost you a penny in rewards Cheesy
