What sort of value are we talking here? If it's few hundred or in the low thousands then yeah your not going to be able to retire holding bitcoin or eth (imo). If it's 25k+ then I think the more stable top 10 would be a wise choice than gambling on altcoins. If it goes x10 in say 5 years time that is life changing.

Sometimes we can get impatient and think the grass is greener on the other side... sometimes you will feel like jumping around different coins but hard to say if that'll work - if you could get in just before rises each time maybe... but dunno, seems rather risky.

Buing Bitcoin Private now will be a better idea
From now you can send your cryptocurrency, using Bitcoin Private platform
http://cointigo.io/
The dispatching of cryptocurrency is so easy now I know, some may claim that BitcoinZ first presented the idea, but the result was achieved by the BTCP team

This is probably my 5th time changing coins. At the moment I dump coins for dash , verge , and eos. I'm hoping for returns for the year. I am not looking for monthly returns anymore but yearly. I'm not bullish on dash or verge. But hopefully I get lucky.
I dump all my bitcoins and dump all my ether. Saying goodbye.

you really doing a big bet by dump all your bitcoin and ethreum to buy anothers cryptocurrencies my friend
i think you do that, because you already predict if dash, verge and eos will be growing

I think putting all your eggs in one basket is a mistake. diversification is key to try to offset some of the volatility in this market and you should always keep around 20% in BTC or ETH. If you arent bothered about huge price swing in your entire portfolio then atleast it would mean you have BTC or ETH to buy with when a nice altcoin dips.

Also, Verge and Eos are both hype coins. Eos is supposed to be an infrastructure blockchain, yet it still runs on Ethereums blockchain and although it is a decent project, it is already WAY overvlued for this point in time. Verge, in my opinion, is a shit-coin that only got hyped because of John McAfee and they have a history of missed deadlines and questionable tech.

That's a nice move, especially going into dash these days might payoff very soon, the price got dumped from +1.2K usd per coin into 300-400 usd range, if your investment is bigger enough, you would get some nice profits at the end of this year, crypto in general still didn't hit new ath's this year so, get your bags full and wait for the moon.

I observe the regularity - if bitcoin grows, then the coins grow faster than bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, then the coins fall faster than bitcoin. So on the growth it is necessary to buy coins, and on the fall BTC.

Well, good luck with that. I do think that you should have a sound strategy to invest in crypto, and have strong reasons to buy a token or a coin, and even stronger reasons to sell them. So if you decided to do that, I wish you best.

Do you end up making more gains??? Well, whatever rocks your boat. Seems that is your personal strategy. I guess you won't be doing it if it ain't working.

I  believe holding for over 1 year will give me net gains. Rather 2-3 months. I'm in this for the long term. The 2 projects dash and verge scare me the most. But scared money makes money.

Verge will be the number one crypto to go to. Every currency have there fud. But when it comes to tech. Verge currency beats out most. People will be like hey its cheap. Time for a bag of verge. Bitcoin is too expensive for novice buyers. Verge is going places.

Ethereum and Uniswap.

just seeing your character, i know you're just want to get daily profit. But it looks like you dont have any patience ?
why dumping coins ?
but as long you still got profit for dumping, that was okay.

more variety of coins you hold always give a chance of getting a more profit

I think that you should diversify more, keep some BTC and ETH for stability, and keep a portion of your portfolio into a stable coin like Tether, so you can use it when the market is down in order to accumulate cheap coins from promising projects.

Your approach is very correct. I also bought XVG and intend to hold it until at the end of this year. Investing in a long-term project will surely be more profitable than trading in the market every day, and the risk will be much smaller.

I do not think that it was a good idea to do that because if bitcoins is decreasing then obviously altcoins will be affected, the only problem on your situation is that you are not sure if your coins will really grow or not and that is the risk.

I can give you only one advice. Don't look any charts and forget about your assets for a while. Nothing will change if you will check the price every day or week. Hold coins and be strong, even if price will go down. In long-term period cryptocurrencies always give large profit.

It's a good decision in doing your strategy of holding coins by not looking on a monthly chart instead yearly monitoring. It surely your means of capital of holding will grow perfect together as all coins are really good and profitable in market capitalization.

This is a good strategy but you could burn your fingers on it...But I think the challenge is worth it.
