Yeah did the changes in yacminer and compiled it, the hashrate in yacminer is bullshit, showing 5 mhs per 7950 but the pool accepts the shares, switched to solo mining, sorry  

No problem :-) pool is there for us with slow hashrates ;-)

No, the miners adjust themselves. The increasing of nfactor just makes it harder to hash. So mining becomes less efficient on GPUs compared to CPUs

Well, nfactor above 12 should render the gpus less effective at mining (considering power consumption). It'll still be faster than cpu, but it won't be worth it. Unless maybe the coin value boosts up like crazy :-P. But even then, I thing a cluster of CPUs would perform better :-)

GPUs will always be faster... It's just a matter of efficiency. But I noticed, as the nfactor increases, the ration of gpu_speed:cpu_speed decreases. Dunno if it actually converges though :-P

Yes although some may have begun to do solo since the difficulty went down. And we plan to accept this as one of the coins on our asic exchange so this will be a good one to hang onto.
