Because cache deserves better that's all, and crycurex is a fake exchange with no volume...

At least try CoinMarket.io...

Agreed.

I agree, but Bter and Cryptsy are already contacted on all channels. If you know other/better exchanges, just go ahead and message them! You dont need to ask here first I guess Smiley

what is the difficulty

The diff is around 40. nFactor is 7.

@kal, could you add this instead of the single p2pool nodes. Its an automatic updating p2pool scanner probing for public nodes: http://q30.qhor.net:8337/

It's forked from the same named litecoin project on github, run your own instance: https://github.com/donSchoe/p2pool-scanner
We need more p2pool nodes: https://github.com/Sykh/p2pool-cache

the chain start time for CacheCoin is

Code:
int64 nChainStartTime = 1388949883;

(see github repo src/main.cpp)

I find outdated startT numbers like 1387769316 (taken from QQCoin) in some miner example parameters posted here. Like right in the FIRST POSTING. Please fix, or a lot of GPU miners will fall out of service at certain times.

I've created a minor patch for the wallet: with current wallet you see Balance, Stake, Unconfirmed and Mature fields in the wallet. This patch adds a "Total" field, showing up total sum of your CACHeCoins (basically sum of the four above) - i.e. how many could would you have at your disposal once the stakes and mined coins and transactions will mature.

I've uploaded the patch at:
http://catcoin.cz/misc/cache-total-wallet.patch

Mhh so we have http://cach.catcoin.cz/ and p2pool nodes who are representing 130 mhs, while network is 280 Mhs.
Question, who the hell here is mining with a 150 mhs rig? (that's a 50 mhs pure scrypt rig)

The network hashrate is only estimated (though will be probably quite close to reality), so I'd say the reality may be somewhere around 200 and 350 MH/s.

I suspect there are more solo miners "out there", with 6 MH/s rig you still get one block per about 12 hours (quite acceptable rate if you intend to mine in the long term, like at least several days or weeks) and then you don't need to pay the pool fee (which is 1% across all known public CACH pools), so 20 to 30 similar smaller rigs could be accounted for the "missing" hashrate.

Or there is maybe two or three larger rigs (over 10 MH/s) and bunch of smaller one out there, solo mining outside of the pools. Hard to tell.

Thats 20 well equipped scrypt rigs. Not such a big thing for a coin like that. I wonder why we did not hit the GH/s area yet.
And solo is still working out. Still finding blocks with my 270x cards.

Just wondering ... what hashrate do you get with your 270x card when mining CACHecoin?

At nFactor 7 I get 700 kH/s per card with AMD beta drivers from repository (Gentoo).

I got told installing the latest from AMD should still yield 1 MH/s but they fail to build somehow with this machine.

How many 270x cards? I can tell you that my R9 280x would not find a block solo right now

I'm thinking of making a wiki to record different mining hardware speeds..

I get 660kh/s on a HD6870 Smiley
