sadly the anti-nyan dude that snatched up the /r/nyancoin subreddit has chosen to add as a moderator that guy that keeps yelling "TROJAN" in here and on reddit..  Such a sad day for the GOOD nyancoin.  He deleted any posts about this coin and replaced them with stuff supporting the other coin.

Also the other coin has had a spike in hashrate and now has a hashrate higher than this coin.

Sad    remember to subscribe and post in http://reddit.com/r/nyancoins (with an s!)

I'm still hoping this big announcement can turn things around

this coin is dead like the other nyan coin , this dev keps telling about some big announcement and nothing so far , people lost intrest and wont come back , I myself mined 6000nyan ,it was doomed at the begining because of the confusen about two nyan coins , well I hope this dev makes another coin .

Big things aren't done quickly. Be patient, please Smiley Future will tell.
But, confusing story about double coin collision is the coolest story ever! Such PR!

I think people will come back if something huge comes. For example, if the big name that they're talking to is the creator of nyancat and there is a deal in the works for cross promotion, now that's a HUGE deal and people will definitely come back. Obviously wild speculation on my part but that's an example of what would revive the coin easily.

Haaaeeyyy! So I'm really into this NYANcoin and this one (the K address one) seems to be the better one. I think I can deal with the fake virus when it has such a pretty wallet.

Mah address:

donate if you wish, all would be much appreciated!

My only question at this point is, which pool has the most active users? I noticed happyminers seems to be down and so is the faucet. What's up with that?

http://nyan.steadymining.com/

this is the only working pool at the moment, from the looks of it most people are solo-mining. happyminers has been down for less than a day, hopefully they will be back soon, that was the most popular pool.  I didn't know the faucet was down, hopefully it will be back online soon too.

To be honest, you should probably just solomine. The difficulty is so low that you shouldn't have any problems finding blocks. I'm sure everything will be back and running if the dev comes back with big news.

Guys, I'm sorry for not being able to give more info on what's going on. Were not trying to string any of you along, were trying our best to get the ball rolling with what's about to happen but there's still a few things to be done.
Also, I commented on Boxuser's troll post to set things straight. He was been trolling us from day one and I guess it's because he's heavily invested in NYN, we can't blame him.

Can you tell as a little more as to the date you expect the information to be released? Any range of dates you can offer will be better than nothing. Also, I'm assuming this is more than the website rollout that you promised a while ago right? I don't think a simple website will be enough to revive the coin. I have a lot of reasons to believe in this dev team given the performance so far, but information is desperately needed right now, anything will do.

We could have launched the website last week, it is a very small part of the puzzle. I would love to have a date and even a countdown for you guys but the reality is I don't know the exact date. Hopefully it will be no longer than a week but we are also playing the waiting game right now. I would just like to say that personally, I'm having a hard time not spilling the beans to you guys right now  Cheesy

2Dev:
Did you come to contact with NYN devs? Did you try to negotiate about cooperation?
If we would reach consensus, then it is more productive. It would be winning strategy.

There's no way to cooperate without having only one blockchain. This is something that I think would be ridiculously difficult to establish as one coin would have to willingly commit suicide. Also past posts by the devs indicated that they had a strategy which would completely crush NYN. We'll see how it all goes. The low hash rate has allowed me to mine a ton of NYAN for very little cost so I'm a big holder. Only time will tell however whether this goes well or not, and only the devs have the ability to make a gamechanging move for it.

Until then I wait (and mine).

I think most people are holding awaiting the news of the devs. And the page currently does not have enough views for new buyers to come in. But on the off chance that there is someone who wants to buy...

I'm willing to part with 100,000 of my NYAN. Anyone interested? PM me if you are.
