Officially licensed means that the copywrite holder (Christopher Torres: The guy who created nyancat) is supporting the coin and allows us to use his copywrite. Additionally, he will be promoting the coin and we will be crosspromoting his site and his works. That's what it means. This is the only altcoin in existence which actually has a copywrite owner supporting it.

Really is amazing considering less than a week ago this coin had difficulties touching 0.08 at several points.

Would be weird if a multipool jumped in on us. We're not on coinwarz or any of those sites and we don't really even have an established exchange trading NYAN. I think the devs were hoping that multipools don't get in on NYAN so that we can have a lot of small miners getting and distributing them. Who knows what's actually happening though...

Honestly, NYAN is the only good one. Just compare them yourself. I can only see DOGE and NYAN surviving out of all the memecoins.

CatCoin was the first failcoin (Seriously, BTC specs?) of 2014.
KittehCoin was a massive pump and dump (Was pretty good for me though  Tongue)
NyanCoin has good devs, community support (even from DOGE), and is licensed by Christopher Torres.

When you compare these side by side, it's not even close.
I was there from the very beginning for all of these coins and I read practically every page of the forums for each one. What you see coming out of NYAN is a whole other league compared to what Cat and Kitteh tried to do.

Agreed, the only reason why NyanCoin didn't take off swiftly was that other attempt to make a coin of the same name for a quick pump and dump. If that hadn't happened then NyanCoin would be in a much different place today.

Not that I mind all that much considering the fact that it allowed for quite a nice stretch of low-difficulty mining before things picked up!
