3544 SOLCOIN bounty (=2 blocks) on REALLY WORKING AND TESTED WIN QT WALLET Tongue

the same for Mac.

There was no premine, so we need to help outselves  Roll Eyes

Have you tried the latest one built by nocoin? The first post in the thread is updated with a new download link. Also, there is a pool available now for steady payouts. No need to solo mine anymore.

Sorry, what's wrong with the wallet that was posted?  It seems to be working just fine.

For reasons we never figured out it crashed for some people, while working fine for others.

I like this coin. Doesn't feel like there is any sleezyness here, which seems to be a rare trait in alt coins recently. I hope you guys do well and I'll be throwing my meager 500 khashes your way here and there.

To be fair, there isn't much of anything here.  A quick look shows no website, no development plan, no mission, not even a gimmick of some sort, just a name that doesn't suck.  In playing the role of the skeptic, I'm curious as to what gave you that impression.

Ok, thank you. I will be waiting!

I too face the same problem with Windows 7 64 bit.

Found the problem. A DLL was missing, managing to fool us by already being installed on the three test systems as part of another unrelated application. For some reason it wasn't even spotted by the dependency walker. The Windows Qt download has been updated and now contains all the necessary DLLs. Don't forget that you also need Microsoft's MSVC runtime libraries, required for anything using Qt.

Thanks! It is working now!

Give it some time. This is the downside of daytime jobs and their priority, but we'll get there.

i cannot connect.  anyone ,  pls post the node..

The nodes are part of the DNS rotation which the client will acquire on its own so you don't need to add them manually with 'addnode', but if you insist: 95.85.1.56 and 162.243.246.38. A third node should be available soon.

Yeah the difficulty says 0 still so you can probably do around 1500 coins per hour in a pool on a 1000 kh/s miner rig.

Not sure it is dead but I don't think so, the pool is running and the nodes are running too. I think the authors are just not the types to make memes and catchy image marketing for the coin but instead a more humble approach to try let the users govern where the coin will go. After all a coin cannot be killed since the source code and block chain is out there anyone can keep it alive. Solcoin Project replied just yesterday in the thread so I believe they are not leaving it hanging, but I think it will probaby take the route many coins do with being quiet after start and then months later when people notice it's still alive they trade and mine it again. If I got my math right the subsidy will half in 35-40 weeks so I'm gonna mine up a bit until then.

The link on the announce post on first page works for me, just tried it and it's the new updated client there with QT 48. Linux one works also.

Ok just checked the block chain, and 1610 blocks are done meaning almost 3 million coins, so people are definitely mining it.

Not dead. We're still here, we're still working on some projects to help promote the coin along with a few minor updates to the wallet software.

Minor updates to the wallet software: new checkpoints added to help cement the blockchain, and the temporary Solcoin logo has finally been replaced with the real version. The wallet download links in the first post have been updated.
