RPC is not the only one with retarget problems, CAT had the same problems. op should have this in mind. sooner or later multipools are gonna gangbang this coin. I guess it will happen when e-token shows up on radars (coinwarz etc.)

+1 This is the most important issue that needs to be addressed. w/o a difficulty re-target of at least every 10-100 blocks, this coin is dead in the water once multipools come in the picture. Even now it's hard to keep some hash when diff is up.

The coins mention above died after fork

what exactly happened to those coins, I missed out on those boats. what exact changes have been made after exchanges and radars?

edit: rare coins don't necessarily have to have 5k retarget- DMD has 1 block retarget. that's why it is so cool to mine it despite the farms. once they get off, diff goes back.

edit2: if something creative could be done with the retarget, stg like making it multipool proof it would be interesting..

edit3: making some penalties for jumping off too early/ prize system, e.g. higher fees for the nodes could also be a solution..

edit4: if it's not a classic pump, coin release time could be longer (currently 4-5 years), e.g. 10-15 years, thereby making making it a really long term investment. But not making a joke out of it, e.g. FRK-500 years.

edit5: maybe it should be determined what an actual goal of this coin would be. there are not so many coins, so it shouldn't be used in everyday transaction. maybe for backing up other cryptos, gold standard or so (like e-gold)

edit6: making some kind a funding would be nice too. not helping the starving children in Africa or victims of I don't what or any of those ideas. it's just.. I mean, really! starvation in Africa and mining of coins! bank could deal with that, by doing so it would secure the price, network and I don't know what else..

just my 2s..

That is some refreshing news indeed, shows that the dev team is able to think outside the box. And also that allows a skilled trader to make some serious money with it Shocked

http://etoken.pool.digiraha.ee/

Anyone form that pool in here?

My account has been locked for no reason (first login did not work, made password change request and once I tried to change it said it was not working and now it is locked).

There is no information on how to contact support.

When running a pool, contact info should be mandatory if you are listed here... :-(

The coins mentioned died because they had almost no dev support. Fact is with current difficulty re-target this coin can't survive multipools.

Scenario:
Diff: 4 -> 4GH Multipool joins in - > next diff 40 -> Multipools leave.
GL mining the next 5k blocks!

When recommending your pool, please let users know how to contact you if there is a problem. You have a PM.

Until this is solved, I would not recommend this pool...

I see, sorry for misunderstanding that... A bit scary though that pool operators don't have contact information readily available.

You may ignore my PM   Roll Eyes

I know why price is going down. Is because people taking advantage of the sell/buy system for a profit. Probably lots of offers in the buy and in the sell are from the same guys. I made ~10eTOK that way this morning.

Please stop guys, it's not worth it. Let the price go up like it should.

The new Cryptocoin Exchange in february will start http://www.comkort.com
There will be about 60 different cryptocoins, but no eToken. It would be great to add eToken there.

That was very generous of you. If I had the etok I would compensate you for helping raise the coin's profile, but I only have a handful myself.
