Hey, community! Would you like to takeover this coin?

Community takeover is totally simple, only needs

a) a manager for coordination
b) a marketeer to spread the word and
c) a developer for the dirty programming

So, let's just do it...

And maybe spead team arround the different time zones. I can do something on point a. And on point b when it comes to helping with a forum. Is already in place. Altought it was quick and dirty. Still need a good webdesigner. I am more of wordpress plugin tuner  Grin

Programming is not my cup of tea. I manage IT systems but a vb or powershell script is as far as i can go  Roll Eyes

Yeah, just need to find a manager, who recruits marketeer and dev. Easy task, eh? Wink

Hehe yeh  Cheesy

I think we have a dev in axio. But i am not sure who asked him. So i dont want to go between them. That all happend last night when i was a sleep. I think i step up as a support member for point a and b in the zone europa. How about that lol. And you? You are also all over this coin  Cheesy

Well, just curious how it goes. I'm learning from this - say - event.

Or we can ask murkanovic i think he is digiraha pool admin, he found and corrected the bug within the fork maybe he would be interested in developing something for this coin.
Just an ideea

Solidchance is in the process of organizing a take over if the dev doesn't show soon.  He has already spoken to a dev that would be willing to help etoken out.  Solidchance is at work at the moment but will be back on the forum as soon as possible and details of his ideas can be discussed with him.

I could check the code. I`m no c or c++ coder but i work as a software developer and have a degree in computer science.
Just need some time to dive a bit into the code.
But if we find a willing and experienced coin coder he can do that. Time is something which is rare at the moment.

Okay still not home yet but yeah i asked axio to help w the dev, we need to figure how to do this, bc it seems that if we go back to the original fork the original dev has like 100k in coins or something like that so i want to cut his ass out of the pie, yes axio said he will program but wants payment in either the revived coin or in his coin so we will need to figure the details out

Hello

I sympathize with people who have no clear message from the developers.

I would expect them to clear information:
- Will there be a 100% honor coins diged before the fork? I understand that coins mined after fork at old wallet was gone Sad
- when be ready wallet under Windows?

Answers to these questions will calm situation.

I think it's worth giving a little more time to explain from developers.

Maybe it happened something random, which makes them an no answer on the forum.

I am with you from today

From what I read on http://www.e-token.org/

It is available the source code to the new fork. No Windows wallet.

you just need to compile and run. I did it and it looks that it works.

Data from getmininginfo agree with what the page (in statistics). So probably it is a new fork?

Code:
{
    "blocks" : 141106,
    "currentblocksize" : 1000,
    "currentblocktx" : 0,
    "difficulty" : 0.00024414,
    "errors" : "",
    "generate" : false,
    "genproclimit" : -1,
    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 195690,
    "pooledtx" : 0,
    "testnet" : false
}

Will checkout the code tomorrow and see what i can do.
But we shouldn`t release or do anything before end of weekend i would say. Just prepare a potential takeover.

The fork has a bug in it because difficulty decreased and now it is stuck at 0.00024. We need a new fork from block 42000 or so

We can always create a takeover thread like diamondcoin did and Mjollnir purchased e-token.info and someone has offered to host it

First u need to think..... think a lot.... not to talk a lot!
you need to communicate with exchanges before doing something..

in my opinion there is only one way that may resurrect this coin..

if you fork back to previous fork point, you will ruin everything... this coin will be dead, FOREVER...

some of the coins from forked chain are inside coinedup accounts-wallets..
do you think coinedup will try to roll back - separate coins that are deposited-traded from forked chain?
think again...
they will prefer not to open this coin to exchange again...
and in that situation no other serious exchange will accept this coin again..

if there is a second chance left for this coin.....

it can only with rolling back to the point coinedup took out coin from exchange and closed withdraw-deposit...
that could prevent coinedup transactions to mess up and they may think to open it to exchange again if things get fixed..
