Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yeah, we are having a problem with nodes going down. I am setting up a VPS now that should be up 24-7 so hopefully it won't be an issue anymore. I will post the ip to add to the .conf file shortly.

Does the .conf file with the addnode=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx lines need to be in the appdata/roaming/grumpycoins location, or can it just be in the same folder as the wallet?

Is adding a .conf file to the appdata location only for solo mining?

Jeez you love Litecoin so much you should pay them half your earnings from any exchange.. seriously.. go donate to them now please !

But seriously why did you make this ?

oh wait i get it.. you missed getting <lite coin> early so you want to clone the coin and relaunch it so you can get in on flash-mining.

daaaaamn that is smart !
i wish i thought of that Sad

I couldn't resist and had to look at your previous posts.

You have Copied and Pasted the above message on to five or more other altcoin topics.

If you hate the altcoin community and everything around it so much (you where even spouting off about banning bitcoin) please do us all a favour and delete your account.

For example you recently started a thread titled 'Why Doge is bad'. Then decided to spew shit about it regurgitating the same bollocks over and over. Why, I can only assume because you missed the boat on that one and made nothing, when the rest of us bagged a tidy little profit!

It doesn't stop there either. Here is a quote from September 2013 -

combined with bots n shit this scene is just getting worse and worse.
i predict lots of people getting more and more fed up with all the Retard/JokeCoins getting pumped out everyday day..

your as strong as the weakest link and they are all almost weak links.

i think im getting close to quiting all this crap its just getting too stupid

5 Months ago ^^ lol

Do you really have nothing better to do with your time than be a negative, miserable, repetitive little troll? I can only assume you have either lost a lot of money in cryptos, or never had the money in the first place to invest.

In fact, here it is - I've got it ->

Hello everyone.
I just found out about all this Bitcoin stuff 2/3 days ago but i wanted to give forum users here
the first chance at mining my new coin i will be releasing (as soon as i can post in Alt coins)

It will be called "BunnyCoin" and is the latest Litecoin-based crypto coin, uses Proof of Work.
It combines the regular blocks with random super blocks (feature from Luckycoin).
It has block target 20 seconds and zap fast transaction confirmation,
it also supports transaction messages (feature originally introduced in Florincoin).

I already quit my job and have a prepaid my web hoster for my site 1 month in advance.
So i am dedicated to making this coin great for small miners and various projects i have planned.

Benefits / Features
- Based off of Litecoin.
- Snazzy new icon.
- Wallet software with the ability to auto aquire coins from other wallets.
- Coins mined in advance for projects.
- Bounties for people that contribute tasks such as coding, promotion and web design etc.

Client site will be hosted at https://github.com/bunnycoin/bunnycoin (coming soon)
bunnycoin.net (in the process of development)

This is no Bro-coin so get ready for launch day and spread the word Smiley

You pretended to make your own altcoin back in July, taking the piss out of other altcoins at the time. However you now realise if it had come to fruition you might actually have an awful lot of money now! Just like the Doge Devs, hence the hate!

Roll Eyes

i do when i asked a simple question..

and no i am not jealous.. i already said that 10 times today but keep saying it.. i understand you defensive fanboy scammers have no other retort..
if you want, since i am so much smarter than you guys i could make up some pre-made retorts you guys could use on me ? for fee of course Wink

seriously though, please stay in school son..

and taking the piss ?
what kind of wonky retard babble is that ?
fix your teeth maybe and you could speak properly UK cheerleader lol

PS:
I still want to know how many other coins this guy made and what ones and how many other forum accounts he has made/used here..
If i can get a satisfactory answer i will of course consider getting involved with this coin.
You see.. unlike ALL of you, i try and find out who i am dealing with before i scream, TAKE MY MONEY !
wow what a concept eh guys ? get it ? .....i doubt it but i'll give you a hint.. what does it say on every page ? Fry says what Huh??

PS:
i am angry and i have hate !!! raaaaaaawr lol

Edit:
almost forgot to state the brutally obvious for the savagely stupid..
currencies are not designed for the purpose of making the starter filthy rich.
so your comment towards me is utterly ridiculous nonsense.

please leave the scene.. we don't need greedy scammers like you that think shit like that.. post your ponzi schemes somewhere else please.

I'm off to bed now, so don't have the time, nor can I be arsed to rip apart your post. However, as a side note I'd like to point out that when talking about yourself you capitalise the letter I.

And please stop using idiotic statements like 'since i am so much smarter than you guys' -

It takes me two attempts to make sense of what you write, because you put together mumbo-jumbo posts like English isn't your first language. If you could muster up coherent sentences, with correct grammar and punctuation then I'd consider you might be close to having even having a low to average IQ.

Night night.

Edit/ seeing as you where editing your post while I was replying - Another mention of a ponzi scheme. lol. Pleassseeee, just dont bother coming on this board to spam it with your troll like drivel.

We can write a lot of posts in that thread but what we need is more movements in this thread and more net hashrate.

So Grumpy's now are 74,657,000 (0.149314%) less.  My transaction was provably lost. I beleive it happens because i made transfer being connected to forked node.
