Templar why do the other guys call Grumpycoin v2.1 ? It's the same blockchain, I don't get it. You only say "version 2.0" when it's a brand new blockchain. I see they are you using your code, they got the same pzs timestamp, epoch time, merkle root and genesis block.

HEY! Long time no see. Finally you've come out of the woodwork.

Funny how you now appear just before the launch onto Mintpal, I can only assume to dump the premine you promised to pay everyone!

We haven't forgotten  Cheesy

Oh and for those that don't believe what this guy is like, read the first few pages of this thread. Also, a member of the GrumpyCoinCommunity messaged Templar earlier, read the response below.

I'm sure your aware of the active grumpycoin community supporting and marketing the coin.

Right now there are two websites and two threads that appear to be "official" GRUMP.  This is creating serious confusion with new people (miners and investors) learning about GRUMP.  I think that the confusion could be enough to keep people away.

Would you be willing to direct your website and threads to those of the active community?

Please let me know how we can work something out.

Warm regards.
No, thanks.

Regards

NICE!

I've been working on my Exchange and actually doing something productive. I've come to a conclusion: either Clarv and a few others are sociopaths, a bunch of 13 years old kids or maybe both. I'm not interested in working with that kind of people so I stopped replying.

About the premine, all of it was given away. In the 'massive giveaway' we only had around 30 million coins left (  I even donated a few more) and It was sent to more than 10,000 addresses, so I even had to write a little script to send the coins. I keep around 65 Million coins in my possession, but these are coins I mined with my rig, so they belong to me and it's for me to decide what to do with them. Since I created grumpycoin I gaveaway the coins without hesitation. I payed huge bounties to everyone that did something for grumpycoin (more than advertised), some pools even received from me around 20 M coins. I even gave a couple millions for stupid tasks, such as creating the twitter account, and so on.

I recommend you to stop spamming on this thread about the 'community thread'. I've talked to the moderators and they have been deleting all this spam, so you could get your account suspended.

Regards

edit:

X11 coming soon on a different block chain!

I don't think you will do that. You practically would need to to start a new coin. You would lose all your coins, and would need to work to get it listed in exchanges. As the guy above said, if you keep my psztimestamp, epoch time, merkle root and genesis block, it's practically the same coin.

Sociopaths, dont make me laugh... How about you being a recluse, or just plain ignorant?

Why on earth would you create a coin, and then leave it? You say you were doing something productive and creating your wonderful exchange, where as the mods on CCT told me you had personal problems and would be back soon?

Don't forget we all put ideas forward to you after you admitted to me you need the help, we were all working together and then you disappeared and started ignoring us- I'll copy the Google Doc sheet and all the messages in here to see who was allocated what task before you vanished and also to prove you where happy with our help at the start?

In fact, do me a favour - post this script on here you created. And a little list of the addresses that received some of the premine too... Because as far as I am aware everyone that has asked never received a single GRUMP!

I don't think you will do that. You practically would need to to start a new coin. You would lose all your coins, and would need to work to get it listed in exchanges. As the guy above said, if you keep my psztimestamp, epoch time, merkle root and genesis block, it's practically the same coin.

I'll speak to Clarv and see what can be sorted Wink

But don't worry we are in touch with all of the exchanges, and they used our code to update the KGW fix!

I don't care a bit about the price I just created it to learn a couple of things, and since "knowledge" was more important for me than the coins I paid bounties not only for creating tools for grumpy but to teach me how to create them too. Practically I paid to learn how set up block crawlers, block explorers, how to create games, paper wallet generatos, faucents and so on.

I don't have to prove anything to you. I will only say I used imacros + excel as 'db' + php for daemon's api commands.

This is my last reply to you.

Regards

edit: The fact the premine is so important to you proves you're only here for the price and money.
By the way I asked the CCT admin not to give you access Wink

The truth here is your not a man of your word; in fact I would go as far as saying you are a blatant liar.
A quick flick back to the start of this thread proves that!
You cannot be trusted and anything you say should be taken with a pinch of salt.

You where willing to (pay someone to) build a coin, let people mine it by investing their time and electricity, and get it listed on exchanges so others could pay out of their pockets to buy some, only to leave it to die because you had learnt enough? Lol. Do you think that's an honest way of doing things?
You could have offered it up on here to see if anyone wanted to take over, so that people have hope they might see a return on their 'investments'! Roll Eyes

And seriously, I ain't in this for the money, Otherwise I would have sold at the peak of 5 satoshi and would have been long gone!

Good luck with the exchange, you have all but no chance especially using an IPO with it, people can see right though your scam!

In regards to CCT, I see what you've done there. Very noble of you.
I tell you what as a little bit of retaliation - have you seen the number of followers we have on OUR Twitter now?

Templar77,
I don't know what is you problem really.
Thanks to me and my friends GrumpyCoin is still alive. You abandoned. I offered DAILY help with this coin without payment, you never answered and you are just calling us names and now you are calling us sociopaths and mention my name?
Sociopath:
Psychopathy or sociopathy is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and disinhibited or bold behavior.

Show some respect and learn how to collaborate with other people or just get a life. I might be the same age as your father. I have done nothing more than great things for GrumpyCoin.

I might be older than most fathers to the kids around here. I am not a kid although sometimes it looks like that. I am a real professional developer with 20 years of experience but crypto currency was also new to me.  You are just lucky to have me around participating in this side project. Look at the quality of the coin now and compare with other coins and I don't compare with kid hype. Even if this coin doesn't have enough hype it is one of the best on the market after the big coins although lack of payment solutions but could be one of the best when real payment solutions will be implemented. All negative comments are mostly from kids trying to increase value to their own coin.

I am not promoting selling if you talk about money only buying and thanks to me GrumpyCoin has more than 1200 followers on twitter, you had only a few followers, and I never asked for money. You just shutdown access and left. I was protecting GrumpyCoin when we got threats and I gave you all info with copy to all team members. What did you do? You never answered so we changed again and we had to treat you as a suspected coin destroyer threat.

GrumpyCoin community is doing same as Bitcoin community is doing for Satoshi et al and GrumpyCoin community won't change coin parameters using this name. Last fix was required to continue on the exchanges, I did this for free and I do not ask you to pay me although this work and everything I have done for this coin would certainly have been paid several BTC for any new coin. I don't need those BTC. The GrumpyCoin community has payed several millions in giveaways and to people helping us from our own mined coins.
Version 2.0 and 2.1 belongs to GrumpyCoin Community. If you don't like them don't use them. We offer alternatives same as Multibit, Hive wallet, Android wallets etc do. If you need more updates you can contact GrumpyCoin Community and expect to pay for the service in advance and I believe the GrumpyCoin holders and community decide what to use.

So stop acting childish and do some productive for the coin. GrumpyCoin Community will continue with or without your help and I am only writing this for the benefit of the GrumpyCoin holders.

Good luck and goodbye Templar77.

Clarv, representing GrumpyCoin Community

Hate to say "I told you so" about templar77 but I clearly nailed it again. The guy remains a worthless asshole. Vanishes for weeks then comes back butthurt that things moved on fine without him. I love the "wink" emoji like he thinks he's really clever. What an absolute dipshit. Yes, I'm an asshole - however, I stick to the facts.

Templar77 jumps back in and hash rates and prices plummet (yes I blame him). I jumped in because I loved the community. Lost a lot of faith when he suddenly reappeared.

Looks like he came back just to put a couple more nails in the coffin.

To all who read this I would highly recommend moving over to the new community forum (listed two posts above) and start interacting with the guys who made grumpy something worthwhile. It may come back but the REAL devs could use some encouragement and support.

 To Templar11,

I understand, given your previous posts, that you will most likely attack me for this post. Do your worst. I will not be responding.

Only thing I have left to say to you is please finally walk away permanently.

He can redesign the logo. He can use a... horse, for example.

The issue is about the word trademark "grumpy cat". The image can be copyright infringement although I have not seen any document about copyright infringement for the image used.
If there exists a copyright holder of the image used for this coin the person have to show some proof before reclaiming copyright infringement including EXIF information from original photo
and show that the same cat is used in this cartoon style image. If the artist who transformed the photo to a cartoon style image reclaims copyright infringment proof also has to be presented that I see pretty difficult.

Dev, if you get in to any problem let us know.

So there is no problem.
