I'm a little baby solo miner 1.4 Mh/s, but I scored my 1st block!!  Smiley

Are you mining with a TI-82 or something?    Tongue    j/k

Dude a Apple ][+!!!
I was just killing a little time before I throw another R8 280x online.  Letting it run to check the temps, saw your thread and thought I would give it a try!!  The other rig is still mining on Middlecoin.

I would be thrilled with a dollar. $0.50 or even 0.25 would be nice. We'll see. Have to get on an exchange first, because there don't seem to be any buyers in the trading threads.   Wink

The altcoin market is not stable at the moment, we need to hit a exchange when the mood is positive, not now, people are selling. Honestly this coin is one of the only coins that are moving higher in hashrate after a few days. No buyers, i will give you a example, i had coins of XIV (Xivra) also very interesting coin, but anyway, they were trading on coinedup, no volume, nothing and today they were added to coinmarketcap and suddenly a big spike in volume.

This is also something that i already communicated with the PR person. Don't put us too soon on the market, first let miners mine a little, and from the moment you hit the market make sure that you're on coinmarketcap and then on wheretomine and coinwarz. Why first let us mine a few days/weeks/months, is very easy, we are miners that believe in this coin, we will not sell when it hit the market, we will keep it. Marketing is very important here, we already need to have a big basic when we hit the market, we needs a lot of people that want to buy this coin from the start. Also we need services that allow you to pay with KDC. For example i've a girlfriend and she do massages, so i'm certainly willing to promote KDC to pay her to receive massages, ok, this is a locale business, but if every miner find 1 locale business then we have 100 local businesses, and those businesses also find 10 new businesses then we have 100 businesses that use KDC, and then 10000, .... SUCCESSFUL COIN = GOOD MARKETING!!!!

It's things like that which end up in local newspapers. Anywhere that accepts Klondike Coin is a victory for the currency. It would be amazing if we could find someone that would even sell gold for Klondike Coin.

I always wanna to have my owncoin lincoin Smiley but i'm not technical to support my coin. But what i certainly want to see is somekind of amazon or second hand store. So it is very easy. People put books on a website and sell it for 1KDC or for 1.5KDC, anyway, so people are ordering those books/dvd's/toys/etc via this website and then people receive the stuff that they order at home.

Here in belgium we have a site called '2dehands'. It is a site where you can put all kind of stuff, you put it there with email and phone number/ people phone you and you sell it and you agree with the person when he can pickup the goods at your place. This is something that i want to see using KDC coin. We need REAL applications that can be used by 5,000,000,000 people, or are we already with 7,000,000,000 people? i don't know Smiley

Why is easy-mining.net empty? We need to move some hashrate over to there. Coinarmy has way too much hashpower.

We have 3 miners there now (including yours truly Grin)

It really boring!  Mine all day and BTCs show up! LOL...  You never know what you are mining.  My problem is, I keep pulling my miners off to play with coins like this, and batcoin, and pirate coin and others...

I'm thinking we should increase the first exchange bounty. I'm not sure what a typical exchange bounty is, but that seems kinda low. Any thoughts?

I think you might be right....I will contribute some more to the fund
Is it a good idea to push for that now?  The previous posts have me conflicted....

almost 100 blocks bounty is not bad for just adding another currency pair. Even without risk, don't think Klondike will bring an action against someone.  Grin

I feel like getting into a smaller exchange sooner is a good thing, and if Cryptsy takes a little longer that could be for the best. A smaller exhange would allow some miners to cash out a portion of their earnings -- to relieve some of the profit pressure so there's not a huge dump if it takes weeks of months to get listed somewhere and then it suddenly happens, and conversely allow some non miners to obtain a more substantial position as a stakeholder in KDC than faucets and giveaways do. A smaller exchange may also help gradually build the hash rate, and hopefully we could fly under the radar of coinwars, multipool, hashcow, etc. etc. for a little while.

So what I'm suggesting is that we try to bribe a smaller exchange to list us.  Wink

Getting onto an exchange early isn't a bad thing as majority of bag holders seem to be from this community. So if we all hold out for at least a $1 before selling anything, we can control the market.

That being said don't see $1 as a target and dump Tongue

If you are a big bag holder its best to hold or trickle them out onto the market, you'd make more than making a huge dump and not managing to sell all your coin.

But congrats guys we're really doing it Cheesy Big thanks to all the early supporters too (though anyone thats joined us today still falls into that category!).

I have added a new pool to the frontpage, any others please PM me.

We still have plenty of things to release over the coming days/weeks so stay tuned and keep #ing!

I'd make $1200 out of a week of mining. You'd need to be very convincing for me not to dump at $1 Smiley

That being said, with strong service support and visibility, it can go even higher... Dice are a good thing (after all, gold-rushers need to be able to take some risk Wink ), maybe in the future we could think about gold exchangability.
