This coin looks promising! I bought an HD7950 a week ago and thought I would start mining this coin! Sadly I still haven't recieved the card yet, and I'm stuck at around 20khs mining this..
Any kind soul wants to give me a little boost on my income? That would make my day! My wallet: GYKu2d6N6Ano2cz4X6FSct9YVgip6G9N87

I like the new logo, what do you think about implementing the US outline? Sort of like this... I'm not a photoshop expert so maybe you guys could tweak it if you like it.

By popular demand in the Logo POLL that was posted recently, most users like the original design, but with a few tweaks. What are your thoughts on this version of the Coin's image? Basically, I don´t think a logo for a coin has to look like a coin. However, the actual logo should fit on a coin. The logo must be displayed with a coin and without a coin - but the logo isn´t the coin! The current logo with the coin is too fragmented, the individual parts do not fit together and there are to many "cheap" filter effects (sorry). As I have already written a few days ago here, I would also provide the "e" or "E" with two strokes at the top and at the bottom. It should be simple and quickly to understand. It has to work as positive and negative (on black or any color). It should be as easy as $ or € or BTC. My opinions is, leave the old logo behind and free your mind. We need a professional graphic design. If you want to invest some old school $ for it: www.99designs.com very cheap but professional newcomer. Or we have to collect some more USDe to pay a professional designer. I would say, we need 250.000 USDe or more for it (=0.375 BTC or $300). This is nothing for a logo!!! It´s my daily business. I´m a creative director for this. But I don´t have time to do it. I will help as much I can. I can give some advise. The logo is very very important!!! Much more than the most people are thinking.

Personally I think it looks better without the outline. Otherwise it starts to get too complex.

I agree on the idea that the logo is very important, I was not trying to re-invent the wheel just give ideas. I was thinking more along the lines of where the coin was founded. If its too simplistic, it looks cheap. If its too complicated and busy it will be confusing for some.... there will always be lots of opinions and a poll will work best.

i think the logo don't need a 3d effect.. it should be flat with 2 or 3 colors an antique design.
don't know if its a taboo to name other coins in this forum but Look at "WDC" logo for example. clean and simple with flat colors.

I was actually thinking the same thing when slapping the US on there.... Opinions are always welcomed and taken lightly. There is also a value of pride for what the US was founded on... Maybe something that shows international ties with the currency would be more suited.

What is important is that it stands out form it competitors and is easy to remember, max three colors, max three shades of those colors. For those of you who know marketing I am talking about the concept of "top of mind" and creating quick and simple associations in the mind of the consumer/user.
