It seems that on Cryptsy the initial price is take from other exchanges that this coins was listed ON. They just add it MOON and RonPaulCoin. Moon (very interesting), 3 days ago you couldn't sell and now it 31 satoshi in cryptsy, 3 houras ago was 15, an cryptsy copied the price from coinex Same with RPC, price copied from coinedup
It's the market price, it doesn't differ that much between exchanges do you think?

it's the silence that's making users switch to dgb, the devs are really active there and say more than don't worry we got this.
We are younger thatn DGB and have more pages and views here. 1 day younger, I've been actively monitoring the differences between threads, when I started we had about 3000 views above them steady, then a little action went on in the thread and we got up to 5000 views or even more but since the doge rush it seems that they were able to keep more of their users interested than USDe could thus we are again at 3000 views above and declining, at this rate we'll be at the same number in a matter of days. also USDe I like your comment, I like it when dev shows attitude but we don't need a babysitter we need news or at least hints like "we're working on this or that" or "expect big stuff to go down in 3 days" or "we're on chillax mode keep mining" ... something. don't forget this is a speculative game and silence is the worst news a coin can give. also I won't even mention the fact that it's double in price and tenfold more inflated than USDe (13.125 x more coins to be generated). also have you seen their hashrate ? god damn ...

Update for miners at SteadyMining;
Our pool setup currently consists of four machines, of which one handled the USDe pool and frontend. This machine came under attack by a botnet around 16.00 CET this afternoon. Since we pay for a 95-percentile of 1gbit bandwidth, and were continuously exceeding this limit, we decided to shut down the machine at the IP address under attack.
First off; For the anxious ones; No data, nor coins, were lost.
Several hours later, when restarting the machine for a couple of seconds, we were able to see the attack was still going on.
Therefore, we've dedicated one of the three other machines to the USDe pool - and - spent a couple of hours migrating all services, wallet, and database.
This machine will run the pool, until we are certain we can restart the pool on our bigger and faster blade. This machine however, only has a 100mbit connection - however we doubt any difference may be noticed by miners, until we'd hit over a gigahash. So - no worries there.
However, as soon as we know our other IP address "is being left alone" - we'll switch back to that blade, which will require approximately another 10 minutes of downtime. All preparations for this task have been done, so it's just a matter of waiting out the attack.
For now - all seems to have been tested, and running properly. You can continue mining, or, withdraw your coins, at any time.
Footnote; DNS records have been changed to point at a new ip for this machine. You may need to clear DNS cache.
(And as a final note - whoever is running the attacks, _please quit_ -- however doubtful one would listen to such a request.)
Right. Time for some sleep.

USDe has a good thing going. Once it gets a little more mainstream, the big boys will take notice. Let's not be caught off guard.

Not to come across offensive, but aren't we mostly adults here? I could put an ad out that we need to hire a thread babysitter to keep you guys entertained as we work towards our goals behind the scenes and monitoring this thread about 18hrs a day, what do you say? Think we should fill that gap?
And by you we don't mean everyone.
An interesting debate discussing the private "fed" reserve would be something worth and educating to our thread's new visitors. How about stories of how banks and lending institutions are able to rape each and everyone of us with legal protection for their theft?
hahaha I volunteer to be the thread babysitter, no need to pay me hahaha

Guys -- we need graphics people to do some art work / illustration for a few articles that are being prepared. If you come across any talent that can do newspaper-style sketches and similar things, please pass their info along.
We have a handful lined up, but some of them may be hit / miss, so want to make sure that we get quality work in.
Thanks!

How to find network hashrate? Pool's stat of network hashrate isn't accurate. It depends on the pool you're in... I was looking at coinarmy and their stats were right on. I also sometimes quickly glance at poolerino.com as their home page shows USDe's network hash rate too... the two at the moment are exactly the same, though poolerino has to be refreshed to get the current rate and coinarmy's refreshes every 10 seconds I believe.

Instantly raise the price of USDe by getting a few big spenders together on Skype that go to coinmarket.io and: 1. Buy everything 2. Several people list it at or around 0.000015 3. A group of people on Skype start buying and selling at that price to create a market history, then steadily raise it. 4. Instant hype 5. Instant attention 6. Sudden sell orders, sudden buy orders. 7. Price permanently raised
If we were to do this, we need to do it sooner rather than later. I don't know of any auto-profit pools that have USDe as part of the auto-switch so if we did it quickly, no pools would instantly skyrocket the nethash, but it would put us on the map. Hell...it would consume the map.
