Does the pool have a problem? Who knows?

Did you load the conf file? click the start menu in windows taskbar and search for: %appdata%

this will open ur "roaming" folder in a windows explorer and open the folder marked "qubitcoin"

drop in your qubitcoin.conf file that come with wallet

Try copying one of the working wallets conf file and see if it pickup up a working node. I have had wallets that take forever to connect on one computer and not another.
