I like this coin and I'd like to denote 10k Qbit. Which address should I send to?
The author disappeared and who is responsible for the community?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

We need some more pools, i'll be happy to provide hosting and domain, if anybody knows how to setup stratum pool Smiley

We could always use some more hashes.

The Small Time Miner Qubit Pool
* http://q2c.smalltimeminer.com
* Pplns Payouts. Full Block Rewards Rewards Including Tx Fees, 1% Pool Fee.
* Stratum Only: stratum+tcp://q2c.smalltimeminer.com:3349

I use this pool and really like it. I only got one issue, I have a server that does most of my mining and it is a Xeon E31220. It does about 160 kh/s, but sometimes the dashboard say 0 kh/s or very low. Is it my server that is the issue? When I use my desktop aswell it seems a lot more stable.

Pool calculate hashrate from accepted shares in past 10 minutes. You may be just unlucky and not mine any share in 10 minutes, which can easily happen with your low hashrate (I have 140kH and it happens to me)

I've lengthen the query time, should help some, with lower hashes there can be longer intervals between submits, it's not real accurate when you only have a few shares to calculate from.

thank you so much, start the service by hand every day with the planned budget for 1000 coins. I think this approach should attract new users every day.

Do I need a forum? Put the engine is simple, start threads should be reminded content difficult! If a forum is needed then let us decide who will deal with them!

guys, first of all thank you for your efforts in new development.

for new readers i like this summary:

Quote
About QubitCoin

Qubitcoin was started on Jan 12 2014 as an CPU based Crypto Currency under the symbol Q2C Trading Symbol (Qbit on Poloniex). What makes Qubit unique is it was not pre-mined, build on new algorithms, with first 1000 blocks rewarding on 1 Q2C / Qbit, CPU  based mining with a total of 248 million Q2C / Qbit limit. Blocks are rewarded at 2048 Q2C / Qbit Per Block with Halving every 60480 Blocks, Qubit Blocks are generated every 30 seconds.

I think that the most important things are:

1) REAL New Algo (different hashes)
2) REAL Fair Start (0% premine + 1000 blocks @ 1qbit)
3) REAL Community (there are not whales lobbies here)

The most important featureas now are also ok:

1) we have a working wallet and transations are very fast!
2) we have some working pools
3) we have a working block explorer http://qbit-chain.com/ that everyone can see and use
4) we are also listed on a new but promising exchange https://poloniex.com/

but also i think we need to improve the organization of this young but already large community.

I think it is totally useless at the same time develop 3 different websites, make different threads for cryptsy or other exchanges and call the same coin with 3 different name... Grin
This creates confusion for us and for new people that read here.

We are a lot, we like this project... let's stop doing the little groups and begin to think like one and true community!
You only need to want it and we'll get on coinmarketcap in a month, come on people!
The moon awaits us!!!  Grin

@krecu I don't think that we need a forum.  Reddit provides a much more dynamic and vibrant format for discussion and that's where most of the coins communities do their discussions. We have our own subreddit here http://www.reddit.com/r/qubitcoin/  I'm one of the mods there and will make it look nicer over time (Right now I'm busy building a site for Qbit organisation).  Everybody, come and join that subreddit and let's carry on the discussions there, rather than here under one thread.

As for what is the 3rd website, that's probably the one that I'm building.  I think it is going to be for community organisation, project development management, organization of local communities ... so basically the Qbit Foundation.

Hoping this coin goes places... pricing out building two new dedicated miners with 8-Core AMD Vishera CPUs to point at this coin Smiley

And of course some GPUs for DOGE as well to hedge my bet a bit.

Oh, I want to see this (http://www.reddit.com/r/qubitcoin/comments/1vnrtd/website_fundraiser/) maybe screenshot? created on framework or?

q2c.cc now professional site, unique design and very expandable CMF Drupal 7

I need to know that your project is not just words, that would stop the implementation of other modules to the my site

If you need dedicate server - welcome (PM me I give free)!
