Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes. Just dont ask when it will happen as no body knows about that. But it will happen if you keep patience and let the time do rest of the things. BTC was couple of dollar a 8 year ago. Today it is 8000 USD. Thats more than 1000 times the initial value. So yes, we have proof for that, just HODL, be patient. |

Buying BTC's at any price level will lead you into; a) decent profits b) losses . Now for much is the chance, no one knows. So if you really want to acquired and buy bitcoin at the current price, do it and see for yourself what will happened on the way. If we are talking about "chances" then it has lots of rooms. Just take note that "anything" can happened so being loss is part of it.Do not scare him away. Hahaha. Buying BTC's at any price level will lead you into; a) decent profits b) losses . But at this price level it has more chance, not for a "decent" profit, but very immense, "I am rich" profit depending on the amount of your investment. I believe we will see it happen on 2020 sometime near before or after the halving. Now for much is the chance, no one knows. So if you really want to acquired and buy bitcoin at the current price, do it and see for yourself what will happened on the way. As long as you understand the risks of bitcoin at any price level, you can managed well your portfolio. Goodluck.

It is possible but you may not get that in short term. You only need to be patience with the market if you want to makes something good from it. Many people that buy bitcoin at the high price in 2017, January were able to get great interest from it in 2017, December. |

Absolutely, but you need to be patient. It will take a while for bitcoin to reach its ATH again and surpass it. If you want to triple your investment short term, invest in some ICOs..but it's a more risky investment.

Of course yes. Bitcoin is profitable investment since the beginning and I believe it will continue to become more valuable someday and if you invest now and hold for long term there is a possibility that you can double or even triple your initial investment. But there is no exact time and date if when it will happen, no body knows just do believe and trust in bitcoin,hold on and have more patience to wait.

In my opinion you still make it but you have to wait long for that, since the market cap decrease will be hard for BTC going to the moon again. If you aim to make invest for long term investment to gain 3 times profit from BTC is possible. If you want to make faster you can put that money in to new altcoin, but you have to spend more times to analysis each altcoin. Last year VERGE is become altcoin with highest return, and now there are coin similar verge called PCN.

Ask 2017 what happened and check any threads from the 2017 and you will see what people spoke about the bitcoin. Its the perfect example of what happens when you hold your bitcoin by buying them at the right time and waiting to sell at the right time in future. People literally bought bitcoin at 1000 USD in the January month and if you were around here then you know BTC risen all upto 19,000 USD in just single year man. Whatelse you need to confirm that whether you will double or triple your bitcoin? Thats enough I guess. FYI : You will double your USD rate per bitcoin however your bitcoins number stays the same.  |

If you don't want to wait for another dip, then it could be a good idea to invest now. But you have to look at the long-term, for the short-term things are not lookig very bright for people who expect to double or triple their investment as there isn't a bullish trend that can give us enough confidence that the price is going to skyrocket. We only can predict it and take any chances and gamble your money/bitcoin the bitcoin market is still at its low price value for this day. Here is a thing I can not say a week because there will be chances of market price of going down and up. The reason is? It is because of because whi tthere to hold, trade, buy and sell bitcoin. When it hits up sometimes for a week or month it will stay that is because of us. I can only say that but we really can't guess every value thatvwill come up on the market. |

Of course you have a chance you just don't know when that moment will happen but one thing is for sure, that the price of bitcoin will continue rising despite the dips it is facing in the market. So just buy as much as you can and hold it out until you see your investment doubling or more. Of course it is possible, think of the current price right now which is $8300 (at the moment) and the price range that it hit last year ($20000), that's more than 50% cheaper and it is not impossible that Bitcoin will reach that price range again but the problem is we don't know when it will happen again, but surely will not gonna happen if you aim to double or triple your money in short period of time. It is still a good time to buy but if you will buy right now there's always a chance that Bitcoin price will go down even the price already went down, but if you will just hold it long term, there's a chance that you can double it or maybe triple it. |

it depends on how long you have in mind. do you want to double/triple it in a short time such as 1 week? 1 month? 1 year? or longer? if you have the dream of making that much profit in a short time then you should forget it because it won't happen with bitcoin. you may see on extremely rare occasions that a huge rise like 2x happens in a short period of time but it is not a normal rise for bitcoin anymore and it won't last like the $20k rise that we had recently.
but in long term there is a much better chance for that happening. just remember to invest what you can afford to lose.

There are even experts who predict by the end of 2018 bitcoin prices can touch $ 25,000 although there is still a possibility of 50:50 between a big success or a total failed. Yes and No. There is no guarantee that market price will double right after you buy. There may be a dip after that or there may be a rise. Nobody can tell in particular but one thing is for sure. In future bitcoin price will continue to increase but one must sell and then rebuy at lower price to keep up with making profits and with market movements. Yes, but it may be a while. There are alts that could easily double or triple and are selling under $1. Do your research and look for coins like that, you may be surprised. Please dont suggest altcoins like that. If you look at very high bitcoin prices this might take time to double your investment, and can not happen only in the short term. It can happen but it will take a long time, maybe it does not matter to you because it is your goal for investment. Anything can happen in bitcoin because bitcoin prices are very volatile. I would venture to guess, because there will be coins that become major players that dictate and shape how are society runs. Where as BTC will most likely always be a store of value. Think of gold. It’s a store of value, but FAANG stocks blow it out of the water in terms of market cap.

For me,making your investment into double or triple is really possible if you just keep on holding them more than a year.We cannot predict the right price but i'm sure btc price will increase even more as years goes by.But make sure invest only what you can afford to lose.Bitcoin is such a risky investment after all. |

If talking a chance, I am sure it is still a chance but you should need to consider time frame for how long your investment is to be made. You need to be patient as you may know that need several years for bitcoin to jump million times from USD 0.77 on 2009 until reach USD 19500 on the end of 2017. |

Yes, there is a chance and there is also a chance that in the short term it might go lower than the amount you purchased it, so it is better you understand the volatility risk as well. However, in the long run, I am extremely sure you are not just going to be tripling your money, but you will be achieving even far more than that. Bitcoin presently has actually gotten lower than it was from the previous ATH, and that is something that when it goes back testing from this spot, you should obviously be making up to that. |

They have to sell at one time if they are here to make profits. If they are willing to hodl for life then its not a problem but the OP seems to be of the former group. theres no guarantee that if you invest now that you can double or triple your investment because bitcoin is unpredictable you should also consider that if you invest on bitcion theres a chance that you could loss a money. |

Anything is possible in terms of value, only matters is when it will happen we are still in the period where speculations is more than the facts, we can't say when the price will fall or when it will rise, we just looking from the past history and hopes that things will bounce back, if you do do believe your instinct and you are willing to gamble and take the risk, then buy now and set your targets wait till the value has been reached then enjoy your profits.

Depends on how long you can hold for. At the current price it should double by the end of the year, and optimistically it can even triple. However, if you're thinking about a quick easy double then no, you should invest in altcoins which tends to move up and down more drastically. |

It's not just a chance mate, but it's a reality that has been proven many times over. However, it should be attended with patience, and it's just so hard to do right now, especially since the market is just not in good shape. I will use what happened in the last quarter of last year as a good example. Just when people are losing hope if Bitcoin will rise back up, it surged staggeringly that it climbed up to around 19k dollars, almost tripling it's value. So, from that happening alone, I can say that there is a possibility for that to happen. |

Chance is always there but how you can reach that is another story. Double or triple profit is possible but as I know only investor/ trader with long term period did that. If you use short/ medium period I doubt you can reach that. Think again, calculate again and don't forget about money management, it will safe your asset. |

It very much depends on your time horizon. Short term you may even manage to actually HALF your investment, but who knows. Long term, you are quite likely to double or triple or even more multiply your investment, but it may take years.

As many people will tell you, you cant make a doulbe or tripple with bitcoin in short time. So if you ware really interested to make this gains, you have to invest as long term invest for some years. SO maybe you could reacht a 3x with bitcoin in five years. THe problem is just, that nobody want to wait that long.

In the long run, yes you can double or triple your investment. You just need to buy and hold. Less risk because you are just holding it nothing more but the disadvantage is it will take more time to double or triple. Now if you want to do it for a shorter amount of time, you need to do some trading then or investing your BTC into another ICO that you think will boom in the long term. It has greater risk compare to buy and hold but it will give reward in a shorter amount of time. It depends on what strategy do you want to use.

The people who are debating whether to buy bitcoin or not (even today) will see the sudden spike in price and then accidentally buy some bitcoin in greed hoping it goes up even more. Sadly the one who is selling will use this as an opportunity to dump their coins and make a profit off it. Bitcoin trading is not a method to get rich quick. Of course you can triple or grow up your investment 10 times, if you can afford yourself just hold your investments for a long time, say 3-4 years. But now I think we will reach $ 12K in the middle of June and then will drop to $ 3K until September.

It depends of you can afford or you're willing to wait out for probably a year. Personally, i think btc will be worth way more than it is today, probably breaking the 30k barrier in the future. That is a million dollar question and honestly i do not think anyone has the right answer to the question.Bitcoin may eventually hit 100,000 USD someday.It is also possible the price falls to 2000 USD anytime without warning,no one cant say for sure how the price will go.Too many variables.Do not invest more than you are willing to let go and do your own research
