I don't know whether there is any thread dedicated to Shit Poster Would appreciate to have the link of that thread."Planning to create a childthread for this list in which I will list only Full Member as you can see a lot of full members have been included in the list. Should be banned. Useless oneliner posts that are made within minutes of one another add nothing to the forum. And someone that posts only those kinds of replies is not someone that is good for the forum.

Its a shame for that user to have a high rank and yet, he is posting one liner shit posts. Maybe he can be negged or banned for shitposting. I saw some users who have negative trust here because of shitposting. They don't contribute to the forum

These posts add absolutely nothing to the forum, even worse, they have to be stored in a database, consuming resources .. When all shit posts adds up, I bet this gives crazy numbers. I have left a feedback.

He's wearing eterbank signature. Gee, I wonder if their signature campaign rules have anything to do with his posting behaviour: At least 10 post per week are required in bitcointalk forum, only constructive posts count (but we won’t be rigorous in our evaluation). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3249010.0

This is one of the very few reason why merit is not pleasing to the eyes of the newbies, and/or members that are about to rank up. Pretty sure if merit was implemented from the very start, one wouldn't really post like this. At least if you want a merit that is.

I'm sure it has probably been mentioned on a Meta thread somewhere... But perhaps we need some rules (guidelines?) governing the running of campaigns... Especially ones that "pay to post". Having said that, is there actually a way to make campaign managers more accountable for the output of their campaign participants? If there are viable solutions... should we make them (the managers) accountable? Or should we simply continue to name and shame the users who are shitposting?

Is merit the only thing for which we are trying to post quality contents? Of course, no. It's a matter of the standard of our community.

Reading through is posts, just show some people are not willing to learn or change to add value. I don't see anything stopping him from just contributing but I guess its going to be a bought account. I have known about shit posters but Hero Member is way out of it and should be discouraged not only him but the manager of the campaign. The problem I see here is not the minimum amount to post at all, I have seen someone made over 80 posts in a week and not one was spam. Short, concise, straight to the point and meaningful at that.

If there are viable solutions... should we make them (the managers) accountable? Or should we simply continue to name and shame the users who are shitposting? There's really only two ways to prevent the current abuse. Either, we tackle the issue by imposing guidelines/rules that are enforced by the staff members or we take things into our own hands, and tag campaign managers. I feel like the first suggestion would be the best, and the second suggestion wouldn't likely affect them as the people who hire them don't really care about the quality of the campaign, and only getting their name out there. I'm not sure what theymos thinks about tackling the abuse via moderation, but I imagine he will treat it the same as spam. Although, I would argue that they are offering an incentive for bad quality posts, and therefore are the same as threads offering an incentive just on a much wider scale.

You should maintain this list and make little improvements here and there. There would be a lot of utility in a community compiled list of high-ranking shitposters. At the very least we could attempt to reform the users that are not acting maliciously through gentle suggestion. The users that have gone unseen by DT members that are acting maliciously can get tagged, bagged and snagged. The first suggestion that pops into my head would be placing their usernames somewhere within your OP. Creating a table might be useful, but simply adding the usernames attached would be helpful. I want an easy way to read through the list, especially once it becomes filled with more users. I've placed this thread on my Watchlist, will definitely poke my head in here if I come across anyone to suggest and it'll be interesting to see how it develops.

I will update if I find any, of course. I always keep an eye on high ranked user in any thread. On my phone now, it's little hard to form it as a good looking one. Will reform the list when I will be on my computer.

If you want I've got a list here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2832305.msg29034329#msg29034329You can manually check them, and see if you want to add any of them to your list if you are going to be updating it regularly as I'm finding it difficult to keep regular updates due to the fact I'll only ever add users to that list with archive evidence which can be extremely tedious to do. Especially formatting it all. So feel free to use any of them on that list as I'm only going to be aiming to update every now, and then. Here you go have a free legendary member to add to the list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=357163

Did he scam you? otherwise you shouldn't tag anybody for "shitposting" only you could tag them temporarily and then remove it after a while. keep at it yogg, DT2 slave tag is upon you especially after you tagged me. FortunJack signature: check. Talking shit to digaran: check. Green trust member: check. Fighting shitposters like a DT2 wannabe: check. Now that you are going to tag people for this, you should tag all the shitposters.

Creating a table might be useful, but simply adding the usernames attached would be helpful.
Created a table with username, link of profile and posts. Forgot adding another column with Tagged. In that column, i will ensure whether listed person is tagged by someone or not.

I like the new formatting, OP, it makes it much easier to read your thread. I know it takes a lot of work, and I've been overwhelmed by simple formatting in the past, but it certainly is worth it. Can I ask why certain usernames are bold? I would think that the merit abusers might be the better candidates to have their names written in bold, but you may already have a reasoning for this. Tables often are accompanies by legends. Merit should have been implemented in Jan of 2017. Almost all the sr. and full member shitposters have registered during 2017.
Hindsight certainly is 20/20, isn't it? Formatting certainly does get tedious, and once you've given it a try you can appreciate all of the effort that goes into certain threads being maintained. The way you formatted the start of your post is solid.
