It's ok. Next step, slow death of exchanges while local bitcoin markets grow in every city, further penetrating societies.

We don't have this infrastructure right now. So the price must drop, we must build infrastructure and then the price will rise again.
It's about a few years minimum.

Btw, one of the most popular payment systems in Russia, Qiwi (which is widely used by russians for withdrawing/depositing funds on BTC-E), will be mostly affected by this law. Also, shares of Qiwi on NASDAQ dropped by 22% after this news.

Thank you for the effort to translate it, now it's more than just FUD. From a country that's run by the FSB (new KGB),
something like that is about normal. While trying to prevent terrorism funding by cryptos, they also try to cut funding
from outside the country to political opponents / human rights activists.

Sometimes, if it looks too bullish, it's actually bearish

As I promised, I've translated the most interesting parts of that Russian document.

Good, thanks. This certainly means death of bitcoin, because as we all know bitcoin is just as much (or heavier) regulated than QIWI, and every blockchain transaction has to get Putin's signature approval to go through in Russia. Bad day for bitcoin. Not that there is any free decentralized alternative to government-controlled eMoney systems where all the payments would immediately switch to, that would be a crazy idea to try and invent something like that.

Yes, I think this clearly shows that demand for bitcoin is saturated.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Good point!

One comment: I've heard and wonder if the difficulty for Nov-14 is going to be 160449*1* MM, you have been potsing 160449*0*. I think this could confuse the owe or the otter.

Have a nice selling at the bottom

which bottom are you referring to?

the bottom, or THE BOTTOM?

in any case, I sold at THE (most recent) TOP, especially glad after reading here this very dangerous news for bitcoin...

EASY TO READ TRANSLATION:

Yes, I think this clearly shows that demand for bitcoin is saturated.

Satoshi's code only allows for adoption by a few countries. Multiple confirmed sources have confirmed this in the developer subforum. Look at the code for yourself, it's patently obvious. Once we reach a certain amount of network nodes, there is a failsafe in the protocol that exposes Bitcoin to the Adoption Attack. It's a feedback loop that destroys the network from the inside. Sell now while the train hasn't derailed yet.

As I promised, I've translated the most interesting parts of that Russian document.

Thank you for your hard work.

I was reviewing the official scanned document and I also noticed a reference to bitcoin:

My Russian is perhaps not as good as yours, but it says something about requiring bitcoin nodes to not relay transactions that fail to pay the appropriate tribute to the Motherland.  It seems they have the following bitcoin address setup to accept the tributes:  1PutinCqxzqzMNSCLKRAC1S5H6tYrAdzsm.

Confirmed proof:  http://blockchain.info/address/1PutinCqxzqzMNSCLKRAC1S5H6tYrAdzsm
