Thanks for the info. Hopefully it won't be listed on Cryptsy for another week, so I can enough first. Thank you very much, I also don't think within a week. I hope you will continue to strive to develop this coin.

https://comkort.com/vote#FRQDon't forget to vote at ComKort. If dev's would stop spanking their monkey to anime and post weekly updates I know some people who'd be interesting in building apps for this coin so that it could actually be used. We will continue to vote Also hope to speed up the development of Thank you

What's really needed is dev activity, I've got a feeling only coins with active devs will survive the current downturn... and those that do will emerge as strong coins. The rest will be weeded out.
Dev activity would certainly help, yes. And community activity in general. The new block explorer that you linked to (did you make it?) is actually very nice: way better than you see on much more established coins. Well yeah dev activity would be nice but they seem gone..

Just heard from the quark flea market and coming May you will be able to buy real stuff with Quark, FairQuark and BitQuark.
As for the quality of the stuff, that's going to depend on what type of merchant sellers they get listing items, but anyone is open to list items, so if you've got a used weight bench in you garage taking up space and you want to get 25,000 FRQ for it, list it at the crypto flea market once it's finished!

FairQuark news roundup - The annoying 15 FRQ orders on poloniex should now be history, minimum order amounts was raised to 0.1 mBTC
- The next halving will soon be upon us, with 512 FRQ per block, or 737k FRQ per day
- difficulty stable in the 300-600 range, transaction counts holding stable as well
At the moment about 185 million FRQ mined, out of 247 for the initial phase, current market cap of $6200, or 4500€ Given the order book at poloniex, value is likely to hit 5 satoshis soon. To maintain 5 satoshis assuming 100% dump of newly mined coins after the halving would take 37mBTC per day (about $18). At 5 satoshis, the mined out market cap would be 12 BTC, at 1 satoshi, it would 2.5 BTC, which is quite low for a coin traded on an exchange that sees many time this volume. My current speculation is that below the 5 satoshi mark we'll see whales cornering the market for pump and dumps.

Halving happened. Buy orders & volume at poloniex have gone up, with a buy wall at 5 satoshis, and total buy orders exceeding the sell orders.

Buy them while you can. Isn't like half mined already and Crypto Flea Market launches next month and FRQ is one of the few coins merchants will accept. Will be nice to buy real stuff with FRQ.

That is correct. Next month we will be launching cryptofleamarket.com which will have a section dedicated to Quark algorithm coins and FRQ will be one people have expressed interest in selling goods for. I don't know about the pricing structure yet so you might be able to buy an old exercise bench for 1,000,000 FRQ or maybe for 500 FRQ, that will depend on the value the community has placed on the particular coin, but there are 4 confirmed merchants who will be selling goods for FairQuark.

Thanks to a massive donation the FairQuark Faucet is full!
So, I've upgraded the larger drops to 100 FRQ! I've also moved 2/3 of the donated coins into cold storage, as the amount of trust I have in the Faucet server is limited - never assumed it would hold that much

Expanded the rich list with a new "vanity" feature for the block explorer at http://chainz.cryptoid.info/frq/ : All addresses with a non-zero amount are now ranked, so you can see where you stand far beyond the TOP 100! (note that this is for individual addresses, not wallets, so secondary and change addresses are not accounted for)

It's in there but the standard frontends don't provide much info about other nodes beyond how many of them there are.
Anyway, I guess the underlying issue is that if more miners don't jump in soon, the FairQuark repartition won't really look fair as someone obviously has a lot of hashing power :/

https://altoutlet.com/alt/currenciesLet's try and get FRQ listed here. Would be great to actually spend them on stuff. I still have hopes that they will finish cryptofleamarket.com/home.php soon so we can start selling stuff for FRQ too!

Me too. I think this will really push up the value of coins if it takes off and will really show us which coins people want. Everyone has coins they want to spend, but this will show us which coins are people willing to accept for their stuff? I think it will help us see: How many FRQ is someone willing to accept for their used 42" flat screen TV? How many QRK is someone willing to accept for thier used washing machine in good condition? How many BTQ is someone willing to accept for their old iPhone 3S they want to get rid of? Right now all coin prices are tied to exchanges and how much BTC/USD we think we can trade up for. There are very few online shops that accept anything but bitcoin. The flea market could change all this and make coin prices based on what people feel the value of the coin is, plus it will make it easier for the masses to get coins without investment through an exchange or mining.
