Any status update? Can we do something for you (beside beeing patient)? Got professional webhosting/webdev experience
Our team is coordinating with Sitelock and is currently going through all of our user related pages eliminating all risks of script injections and exploits. Our last developer left the doors wide open so to speak. I thought it was going to be done yesterday after we got our firewall up, however it looks like it will be later today. Our global stats page being up is the main thing, as that was causing a lot of panic with it being down. Thank you all for being so patient with the other issues as well. Thanks for the information. I see you are focusing the right priorities. I don't get why people are so crazy about global stats. Could be a random number streched over time. Only payouts are important to me (and a real identity would give me additional trust). Related to security, it would make sense if you never let your webserver access the mining server. Perhaps push the mining stats to the webserver (but only in one direction). If then a potential attacker would take over your web server (or DNS!), he couldn't do anything with it. Let me know when I can help. As current customer I'm quiet interested that everything goes well I don't spend 1000$ every day...

How are things progressing?
Great, actually. Today I have professionals working hard on the security of the site, which I have decided to turn into an ongoing investment once our payment section launches. We have about 5 layers of security for when an attacker tries to change our payment page again. In fact, I urge someone to give it a shot right now with any page of our site. 0.1BTC reward for your success. For a site that doesn't even hold Bitcoins in user accounts, this will be one hell of a tight system. Meanwhile, I will be focusing on the automated payout script in preparation for Sunday, as the last payout had some minor issues. On top of that, I will be sorting through the Giveaway addresses so that I can be ready to set up 1GH/s accounts for our lucky winners on Feb 1. (Don't worry, you can still enter!)

Our orders page will be back up when we are fully confident of it's strength. I was actually considering accepting orders through E-mail, however I then realized this could be a security issue as well! Somebody could imitate us very easily if we start doing business that way. For this reason, I will go out of my way and make it clear that our new payments section will be the only way to place orders, and you should ignore anybody else claiming to be PBMining. I will be posting this as a caution somewhere on the site.

More entries doesn't mean less chance for us to win so who cares...
I was just wondering how the pricing works. I have noticed that the price of 1Ghs fluctuates. Is that fluctuating with the price of btc?

What will you win per week with 1ghs So far this week through about 4 days I have generated about 0.001 btc, so if it stayed at this speed I would theoretically break even after day 52.

The order system will go up when we have full confidence in it. I could be tonight, and for sure no later than tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here is what you guys will need to get started with the referrals. The Piggyback Partner ProgramYou can use those on your websites to point to http://www.pbmining.com?ref=username We wanted to post this here first to let you guys know that it is currently active if you want to participate. We will be implementing the information page on it soon (pretty much what this is but it will have more bells and whistles). Feel free to use your forum signature as well. The only trick to that is to keep the advertised cost updated. Our low cost is what sells us. If you can get someone to sign up, their ID gets paired up with your ID permanently in our database. From that point on, any hash power they purchase you will receive a 10% commission. This commission comes in the form of more hash power to your account.
