I have a .cmd file with
-C:\Program Files\cgminer-run\cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum+tcp us1.ghash.io:3333 -u Sarticus.worker1 -p poky --bmsc-freq 0781
in it.
It just opens and closes.

When I type that string into a command prompt window I get:
 cgminer version 3.8.5 - Started: [2014-01-17 09:30:42]

Anyone see why the ANT is not hashing?

Let me try...

Click on the start menu, and type "devices". Click the one that says "devices & printers". Go down, and you should see something with "COMx" with x being any number. It should be called "USB to UART bridge" or something similar sounding. Reply and tell me the status if it is there or not.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Had done the driver update. The cmd file was not running as it cant handle "program files" as a directory name.
Got it running, but hash rate was low... trying to find out how to find the darn USB bridge(antminer/AMU) with bfgminer, as forum reports better results. Cant figure what it wants ...
(and of course I cant post in the thread the experts are reading... sigh)

Do you have multiple u1's?

try starting cgminer with just one u1 - if that works, start it with one and then physically add them one at a time with cgminer running.

nonce timeout makes me think at least one isn't working.

Wait so, you're trying to run an antminer on windows instead of the included controller? I think there was a project to run them on a raspi. Give me more details on your setup?

This is a very old thread that was never resolved. Please use one of the official antminer threads for support instead.
