42coin has got 2 very big demerits:
Extremely high price
Very low acceptance
and a merit:
Low supply

Sites are not likely to accept 42coin.

Still it is good for profits I think...
my current suggestion is still dogecoin

Also do not get blinded by the price rise and fall.

Suppose u bought 0.0001 42coin @ 500 BTC, and sold at 1000 BTC, you get 100% profit
Similarly,
Bitcoin just rose in a few months 1000%
Sich a rise is impossible with 42coin

Suppose u buy dogecoin @ 25 satoshis and sell at 75 you get 200% profit
and THAT is more likely

AND SINCE DOGECOIN IS NEAR ITS FIRST HALVING...

I am not interested in 42coin.

It has got 2 very big demerits:
Extremely high price
Very low acceptance
and a merit:
Low supply

Sites are not likely to accept 42coin.

So my current suggestion is dogecoin

Dogecoin is about to turn into Feathercoin - huge walls on Cryptsy, no room for manoeuvring unless you get on the tail of a pump or dump - Doge will die, thankfully

What wall? There are buy orders too...

Total buy orders: 42-51 satoshis: 232 BTC
Total sell orders: 52-61:  176 BTC

DIFFERENCE: + 56 BTC

as on 1/18/2014 Cryptsy

Now you really think we can't break the wall?? And Dogecoin is going to crash??

Anyway i am not selling my dogecoins anytime in a year...

I agreed 42coin is not a good investment. I was going to start mining it, after a few hours, I didn't see any coins. Then quit.

The price of 42coin was really high in Cryptsy at the start but now it is dropping quite low.

If you're looking for a low circulation coin with the potential of increasing value, I'd go with eToken. It's still hard to say whether it'll take off, but for the price, I've bought 50 of them as a small investment.

Like Feathercoin

I hate all new shitclones really but doge will never die now it is simply to large to vanish. When the block rewards shrink so will the dumping.  Doge is actually a coin we have to accept is here to stay with the older most established alts. Cat just didnt really fly, i mean with a block reward of 10 compared to 500,000  you'd have probably been best never pulling your miners from doge. This will happen with all new alts coming out from now on unless they have something very innovative about them.

Any new alts coming now without innovation have almost no hope.  I see coins getting ignored more and more. Even those that mine them seem to have no chance of unloading the bunch of crap they mined. In the buy and sell threads....its just all sellers

Your suggestion for what? A coin to buy and resell for a profit? Isn't everyone who buys the coin trying to do that? And isn't it essentially a zero-sum game? Actually, it's worse than a zero-sum game because the exchange "taxes" every transaction. It's basically a taxed lottery, is it not?

Yeah, a taxed lottery. but the fee is just 0.2% and there are exchanges that dont charge a fee

Thank you, OP...for that quite insightful and quite obviously unbiased review.

Always refreshing to get an outsiders perspective from someone who has no holdings or personal vested interest in either doge nor 42.

I shall take what you said with a grain of shit.

Scamcoin? Really? I have a feeling you know absolutely nothing about dogecoin. It's been established as a popular altcoin used for tipping and small transactions directly after release. On a daily average, there are more transactions in dogecoin then bitcoin. It's the ONLY coin who's GDP exceeds its market cap.  And you think this is a scam? Maybe you should look up the definition of scam.

LOL dogecoin has and always will be a scam coin. In 3 days 6.5% of total distribution of dogecoin were generated (12 BILLION COINS!!). Since then the 3 day miners have been trying to pump/dump this thing like crazy

Scam coin??
Can you define a scam coin ?

change: +140.55% | high: 0.00000228 | low: 0.00000087

chartsCryptsy: 0.00000209
CoinedUp: 0.00000196
Coins-E: 0.00000226
Bter: 0.00000215
Vircurex: 0.00000203

If u think it is a scam coin, u don't invest and don't trade with it and see it become the most popular currency in the online world.

In case you did not notice there is a huge community standing there for doge in reddit...

And who has the last laugh? if i sell my dogecoin now i get 150% profit... but i won't Cheesy

Good work Shibes

Suppose you bought them when the price was low @ 27 satoshis at the time you posted all this, you could have made 8x profit by selling it now @ 220.

And 24coin is still going down...
