if viewed in terms of price, maybe there are currently lots of good coins to invest, because it is experiencing a very drastic price decline, and it makes an opportunity to buy a coin to invest. but even though it is experiencing a very drastic decline but it might be quite risky if investing now, because of the market conditions that are not stable and uncertain that makes it difficult to predict what will happen to the market in the future, whether it will experience recovery or even getting worse.

Well for me I recommend that you should invest on Ethereum. Why? Because many projects are using its platform and also it is more affordable than Bitcoin.

If you want to earn more profits someday,i would suggest you to invest only in bitcoin. More people have a full trust in bitcoin,because it is the heart of all crypto coins,may be it will go down in the market,but people usually have an expectations that it will repeatedly grow up and makes you have earn more profits through investment.

Both of this investment are not bad anyway but it will also be nice you spread your tent to other ICOs,it could turn out that the others may also do well

   Investment is an individual choices, we may have different idea on how to invest.one shoul also note that Market is unpredictable, price move can goes up and down during the market trading. with the present market status, if i am to invest, i will still go for Bitcoin. it is the most stable coin in the market, with good fundamentals, claer market structures and wuth high level of confidence from the investors. Ethereum continously making progress in developing and some investors really like the growth of ethereum. But as of now I dont think its enough to surpass bitcoin in #1 cryptocurrency. Ethereum potential is there but bitcoin established a good foundation enough for some altcoin to depend on it.

I would suggest you split your investment on both. Btc and Eth have close similarities being powered and enabled by the blockchain technology. In terms of stability and less volatility, bitcoin definitely comes top,being a more established cryptocurrency. Eth on the other hand has potentials and is widely an accepted payment currency for most altcoins. Investing in both ain't bad but I'd pick bitcoin anyday.

If you write this thread in the altcoin section, there will be a lot of people who suggest you to invest in altcoin, ETH, but if you make this thread in bitcoin discussion, there will be lots of people recommending it to invest in bitcoin. But I have confidence that ETH and BTC will have great potential and reach high prices in the future so I suggest you to halve your capital and invest both at ETH and BTC. So that later you will not feel sorry for choosing 1 of 2 choices.

Both are the best coins to invest in and currently both are at very low prices which means it's the best time to do shopping.
It's up to you to decide which one to buy but I can tell you some characteristics of BTC and ETH. ETH is the king of altcoins. ETH has more faster blockchain than BTC and it's blockchain is used by almost 90% of alts. who are developed on ETH blockchain and follow ERC-20 standard. ETH is highly sophisticated, most promising & highly demanded coin after BTC.
From a general point of view, Bitcoin and Ethereum differ in purpose. It's a question that I often see asked, and my answer would always be the same, why would you only choose to invest in one of them? Both will tend to move up at the same time so be investing in both you are spreading the risk should any other factors affect the value of one and not the other such as a replacement technology appearing.
