If you contribute "money" (which is value, energy), how is that not "fair"?

You realize that money in itself isn't evil right? You realize also some people don't have time to contribute to your project by the means you want, but when they want to buy something they give you money in exchange.

An artificial Nxt shortage?  What?  BCNext stated that there was going to be 1 billion Nxt regardless of the number of investors.

The original funding period was open for over a month and a half.  That was more than enough time for everyone who wanted to invest to invest.  The only reason he only collected 21 BTC was because there was very little interest.  No matter when the IPO period ends there will always be people who are "left out".  You could conduct the IPO over a period of a thousand years and there would still be people "left out".

I would agree with you had IPO had ended at the pre-announced date of BTC 5-years birthday (4/1/14).

But instead of that, the IPO has ended with zero announcement, by BCNext abruptly moving the received BTC from IPO address and generating a genesis block. This action left out hundreds of would be investors who watched and monitored the thread for developments, and concentrated the initial full NXT amount in hands of 71 people. How you would call it other then creating an artificial shortage, that caused the x2500 - x3000 value inflation that we see these days, in just 3.5 months?

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Nxt isn't just some other cryptocurrency.  We are a movement.  We are a community who help each other out.  We are here to change the world for the better.

Then you probably will agree that with a fairer distribution resulting in larger initial adoption, Nxt will have a much better chance to change the world to the better .

Seeking Additional Java Developers

We have successfully decompiled the Nxt source and are now in the process of performing a massive refactoring and cleanup of the code base.

Short term goals.

Remove the primitive addressing scheme and use a scheme that looks like Bitcoin.  Bitcoin addresses are more readable, have a checksum and have many tools to generate them.  Nxt addresses that are all numerical are something that came out of the 1950's.

Secure Wallet.  Nxt wallet is fundamentally insecure.  Exposing a wallet to the public internet for everyone to hack is just idiotic.   No wonder so many Nxt users have lost money!

Nxt does not use an internal database like every other alt coin.  This is idiotic because NXT nodes easily fail and run out of memory.  Furthermore, if you accidentally turn off your node... your wallet can get corrupted!

NEX strives not only to be a fairer distributed Nxt variant,  but a technologically super version.

Join the enterprise... participate with your coding skills!!!

We will not ship SHIT like the Nxt folks.  We will ship product that will secure our users coins!

He offers a large stake of NEX coins to the NXT owners. And who has the largest stake in NXT? The big shareholders. The guys that you Frictionless opposed in the first place. You are against this distribution and now you offer re-distribution of NEX to the rich NXTers who are given the best deal.

Well, he already created a lot of sockpuppets. If he decides to go 1000 NEX to each BTT account I'll quit this coin. Looks like he is going to conduct scam and then dump all NEX.
