Ciao volevo chiedere cosa usi per minare ETH, ma soprattutto se hai già visto del guadagno! (ROI) Sono nuovo e mi interessa molto l'argomento

e ho capito che il problema e' su DAO e non su ETH ma alla fine ammetto che DAO non ho capito cosa sono, potrebbero essere uno script su ether che era bacato?
Se qualcuno ha capito ... in inglese e' un casino capire e filtrare le informazioni ....

il brufolo russo, con la dichiarazione del fork per annullare le transazioni, ha fatto forse la cazzata più grossa della sua vita, infatti l'ha poi cancellata.
Se il dev di una coin si permette anche solo di pensare una cosa simile, allora può farsi assumere da paypal o skrill e lavorare alla sezione chargeback

If you can name a crypto that has recovered from a hack that was as in-depth as this one and managed to walk out relatively unscathed, I'd like to read about it.

Il protocollo Ethereum funziona benissimo, hanno hackerato DAO uno dei tanti smart contract che girano sul network ethereum.

E' DAO ad essere buggato non Ethereum.

Il protocollo Ethereum funziona benissimo, hanno hackerato DAO uno dei tanti smart contract che girano sul network ethereum.

E' DAO ad essere buggato non Ethereum.

Bisogna vedere cosa intendeva per 'network level', io credo a livello di rete ed in quel caso ha ragione... ethereum ha perso molto sotto quel punto di vista.
L'hard fork che stanno proponendo ora è un'arma a doppio taglio e l'attesa sta 'uccidendo' eth (speculativamente parlando)

Parlavo di questo fatto qui quando ho detto 'non funziona benissimo':

Ora tu pensa che hanno più o meno 10-20 giorni per lanciare l'hard fork e rimborsare poi tutti (almeno sperano) gli ether raccolti durante il crowdsale.

Anche io ho capito che il problema attuale riguarda DAO e non ETH ma essendo DAO troppo grande ha ripercussioni sul valore di ETHER .. ci sono altre beghe?

Certo, il problema di base sono quel 14% di ether che il contratto TheDao conteneva, in mano 'sbagliate' (quando entrerà il PoS eth _ Casper) potrebbero causare altri problemi al progetto. Insomma  ethereum (a mio parere) non era pronta per una DAO .

Ho capito, non mi è chiaro come funzioni il dos ma è evidente che non riguarda ether ma le modifiche che vogliono implementare per risolvere un problema che si è presentato su DAO. Quindi non ci sono problemi su ETHER se non apportano modifiche ...

Oltre al DOS ci sono le problematiche che deriverebbero da una soluzione "fork" al furto avvenuto per un bug in una applicazione (TheDAO).
