Hey, that was my idea! But if you're already implementing this, please consider this distribution scenario.
Anyone who want to have PMC should perform such actions during distribution phase: 1) Place any amount of BTC on any address he owns. 2) Sign some predefined message like "I want to have Premine coins!" with this address. 3) Post address + message + sign in this topic. 4) Put this BTC on hold for week (or any other specified time) and don't touch them.
At the end of the distribution phase devs should verify all adrresses @ block explorer and give PMC's proportionally to the amount of BTC on hold. This "Proof-of-Hold" will get rid of those guys who have dozens of accounts specially for giveaways.
All of my BTC is tied up in other coins. This is an interesting experiment, but I can't risk selling all my coins based on it. That would be insanely risky.

Hey, it was a good idea! Also an interesting way to handle distribution as well. I could see that being slightly unfair to those who have little BTC, but it is a good thought. This proportional story is totally unfair. Also, all my btc is actually in long term trades. There is no "fair" way to distribute premine IMO, but some ways are more fair than others

Oh yeah, so the guy who has big amount of btc get the jackpot. Way to rape people again. Always same story. Big money wins. Don't talk about fairness please, your system is manipulative pure BS.

People are who are actively showing an interest should be first in line. To give it to someone late in the game who has a lot of BTC is pretty much the definition of unfair. Base it on acticity of each user, sure, but put this in the hands of big players and it will just get dumped.

How about a decreasing reward for interested people? So someone who signs up at the very end gets less than someone whos supporting this coin from the start? That may not be fair though.
What about only dispensing coins to accounts with 10+ activity? We don't want people creating a bunch of shill accounts to claim stake.
Good thought. Thank you for that. I would have overlooked it. Perhaps some other verification method in addition to Activity. I can't help that I'm new and low noise

I will not make a move until I find a way to distribute that is fair to as many as possible. Keep the ideas coming, I'm sure we can come to some kind of an agreement.

Not a bad plan. Free lotto tickets, set jackpots for winners. It isn't a terrible plan, but I can still see some degree of unfairness. Could end up being extremely labor intensive as well. BUT, it is a valid thought.

How about showing you have a stake in an altcoin with some value? By perhaps showing the address in the block explorer and sending a specific amount to yourself to prove you own the coins? You could declare the amount in your post, for example 0.34544323, and then send it to another address, verifying you own the address that has the coins. You can send coins to one of your own addresses, can't you? You could just send yourself a specified amount to one of your own addresses. It would just be to show you own the stake of coins. Nothing more.
