So, what about distribution, just common giveaway? C'mon, this will be boring.

I think this coin is more of an experiment - and a pretty interesting one, at that!

I think those most upset are the whales who can't come in and deflower it before the regular Joes get a shot at it Wink

One question:

Considering the hashrate is not expected to be too high (because of fee-only rewards) and that it is SHA256 (and thus ASIC compatible),
isn't the risk of a 51% attack considerably high?

It is always a risk. But as it stands the network is doing exceedingly well.

Houston, we have a problem...
for mining reward there must be transaction...
there must be something that make us sent our coins..
otherwise coins will stay inside wallets,
there won't be any mining reward and no mining will be needed....

Indeed, that is the entire point of the experiment.

What about something like a dice system that pays a little more than 100% back?

I mean:

- You send 1 PMC to the system
- If you lose (50% chance), you lose everything
- If you win, you get 2.1 back (so 1.05 on average)
(Or something more complex but with an average of a little more than 100%)

That extra .05 would be funded from the coins not given out yet.

Of course, the site would need a captcha and maybe a Google login to limit it.

I think this would encourage transactions.

I have a VPS I can dedicate to the cause if I can get some assistance in setting it up as one.

this is just like the bitcoin testnet in a way...

quote from a bitcoin testnet faucet:

"TestNet coins are worthless, but useful. They are useful because they are worthless. If you will add value to them, they will be useless, therefore worthless."

PMC: 1PMC2pNYqLenKtTwj3ueNFowMYj5Nbzc8A

I want some

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

Because the giveaway requests are tapering, i am going to go back through the list again and send more to everybody. Pass them along to others, it will help more than you think.

That's easy;

Code:
cd ~
apt-get update && apt-get install -y git make g++ build-essential libminiupnpc-dev libdb++-dev libgmp-dev libssl-dev dos2unix libboost-all-dev
wget http://explorer.fellatioco.in/download/premine_0.8.6-src.zip
unzip premine_0.8.6-src.zip
cd prime/src
chmod +x leveldb/build_detect_platform
mkdir -p obj
make -f makefile.unix USE_UPNP=-
cd ~
mkdir .premine
cat >> .premine/premine.conf
server=1
rpcuser=theusername
rpcpassword=thepassword
rpcport=9335

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

addnode=65.167.153.125
addnode=65.167.153.115
CTRL+D
./prime/src/bitcond --daemon &
PM me if you run into trouble.
