Just before the problem started - fork the blockchain. Problem solved. If you find find the bug, and find where it first started, just fork it right there. You were going to have to fork it to put the tx fees into the wallet anyway, yes?

Alert the exchange, and lets just get it fixed.

Nobody will own a single borked coin. I would probably suggest not moving your coins until this is fixed.
