I think that it is possible under the condition if you are well versed in the technical part, as an example, Nano. The coin was on the 800th place, and now in the hundred includes

I think the whole market is very dangerous, so many altcoin I know since 2017 has fallen out of the top 100 cryptocurrency. So I realized one thing, no matter where you invest, let's see how you look at the project being invested.
I believe that it is better to conduct their own investigations and study each currency in turn. Create your own "white list" and invest focusing on it.

It all depends on the project, you can buy tokens, which in a few years will be at the top, and you can get to the tokens, which in the future will cost a penny. So it all depends on you.

Investing in crypto currency is associated with high risks. When you invest in projects from the top 100 list, you have some guarantees that these projects will not close in the near future.

Yes it's risky, in the essence that most of some of the altcoins below top 100 are shitcoins, and it's more easier to loose money in worthless shitcoins, it's better to buy solid altcoins at top 100 most of the altcoins below top 100 will go into extinct

All currencies are unstable and generally risky to buy any cryptocurrency, but in tokens that are not in the top 100 there is a possibility that the price will grow strongly due to the fact that a small capitalization of the project.

Every investment is a risk itself. The extent of the risk might just be limited. As you said toward the end of the article that high risk means high earning, I have a different opinion on that. There are some token that did not even conduct ICO. Just distribution through airdrops and you know what? People earned from it more that series of ICO token projects.

Yes it is risky, but if you look at the other side, coins with a small capitalization can give a good profit in the future. For example, NKN, takes 327 place, but if the developers get to realize their idea, it will be a breakthrough. Do not be afraid to invest small amounts in projects with a great idea.

When you ask such questions, draw an analogy with real life. Here, for example, the same pattern. The more money is stored in one bank, the more reliable it is.
With cryptocurrency is not a ride. Moreover, banks in fact do not have their own money. Their money is the interest they get from customers.

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?
On one hand you have possibly dirt cheap currency, since top 100 will include a ton of coins, on the other hand it might be something no one wants. If something does grow out of nowhere, it could be a lot of profit. Especially for stand alone coins, coins that have contract capability, etc.

If you are precise in your choice that is more than okay as for me. I know numerous good coins which are on their low positions currently but they can seriously grow in the next years.

It may be a risky idea in this conditions of the market because even strong coins are shaking as hell, what to say about small-cap ones?

Despite the downtrend in the first half of the year, the forecast for the currency exchange rate for 2018 is quite favorable. It is connected with the expectation of the adoption by the states of reasonable restrictions in respect of ICO and crypto-currencies. This will make investing in digital assets legal and more secure, which will attract the attention of large investors to the industry. Today, crypto-investors prefer to make up their portfolio of coins, which most analysts regard as promising. Usually they are all from the top 100.

It is well known that in this market there is no guarantee in this regard. Just compare the top ten in coinmarketcap at the beginning of last year with the current list to realize that many coins that once were leaders such as Bytecoin, Steem and Dogecoin have been gradually displaced, while others that did not exist then have come to occupy their places.
Therefore it does not seem enough to invest in the top ten, top 20 or top 100 to ensure a long-term benefit. This market is dynamic and we must always be updated to know where the market is moving.

Yes, this strategy is very risky. But in order to be able to make money on this you must choose the right time for investment and be able to take risks.

Yes of course buying coins that are not in the top 100 is a risky business, but with them, after all, you can get a crazy interest.

Right now, with the drop on the market, it is really risky, it was kind of risky when the market was pumping and it is more now, I would only advice to buy coins that aren't mainstream only if you have years of experience in trading.

It's risky to buy even Bitcoin. As you stray further and further down the charts it gets more and more risky. The rub is that your rewards and gains become higher and higher if you pick a good one. It's all about your own personal risk tolerance.

No it isn't risky becsuse there are lots of good coind which is out of those 100 top currencies. It is because some developers are active and doing things just to make the projecys andbit's platform hit the best target. We should also trust new potential coins.
