Yes, it's risky to buy coins not in the top 100, but a lot of things in crypto is risky... But generally, you will be better off investing in top 100 good projects... Outside bets are there that coins out of the top 100 are successful too.

Its not that you have a higher risk of losing money when you buy low tier coins. Its the circulation and demand that we are talking about. A lot of coin doesn't have that much seller and buyers making it hard to have any movement. Choose a coin that has an aggressive movement so you can easily dispose the coin whenever you want to. Don't buy a coin that will take you days before you sell it at a reasonable price.

Agree, buying not top 100 crypto currencies is certainly very risky, we all know that there are always new projects that make competition very tight, most coins will disappear because there are always big projects that look better.

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?
I think yes. Because many altcoins in addition to the top 100 are usually mediocre altcoins and no large community. It's just normal altcoins and not special. When investing, you should focus on investing in the top 100 altcoins. That's the best way to invest that is profitable.

Investing in all the cryptocurrencies is risky. Even the top 100 ones.. The only thing you should do is make a good search on the project. Read the WP, article, blogs, partnerships, and look what the team has done in the past. If you like what you see than you invest. It's important to look all of it including partnership because adoption is the key to making the blockchain technology a reliable source and not just a mean to speculation

Well, this was true somewhere in the summer of 2017, I call this period the “Yobit era”. Then you could buy any scam on a job and wait a week later for a PUMP. But not now, now the scam coins are dying one after another, some kind of market cleansing. My answer is definitely not.

of course I think it's very risky especially now that there are so many ICOs who are scam. now we have to be good at choosing ICO carefully the devs and whitepaper team before deciding to join if we choose right then we will be able to make a big profit. because not all ICO tokens will fail and be damaged. there are several ICO tokens that can last a long time and the value also increases. but it's best for a beginner to invest in the top 100 coins or the top 10 coins in a coinmarketcap. because the risk is smaller than the investment in the ICO.

For me it is very risky, I do not see the coins even below the top 50, although I'm sure at the bottom there are many interesting coins, which eventually will grow very much, but unfortunately I'm afraid to lose your money and not risk so much

Actually it is really risky specially if you don't feel that this crypto will have a potential in the future. That is why it is much better to do further research about the crypto that you want to invest with to know if it will have a future in the crypto. So it's always risk to reward ratio

For me i think it is not consider risky to buy not on the top crypto currencies, because base on my experience not even in top 100 crypto currencies but i earned high as high to what i expected. Believed, patience, hard work and dedication is the key to success and set aside all the risky once.

Yes, I think it is even risky to buy from the top 100. But, what to do, you need to choose and invest. If always afraid to take risks. So you have nothing to do in cryptocurrency. Therefore, we must act.

Not top 100 coins? I think it's too risky. maybe if you want to try it doesn't matter, if you have unused money, and don't invest too much there. because not top 100 coins are still cheap and you can buy a lot from it. the important thing is do not exchange all your assets. Top 100 coins indicate that the coins sell well in the market, and are trusted by the public. Whereas the not top 100 coins are not coins that are not trusted, but are still in process, and that requires patience to fight for ....

Definitely, but, in the other way, you can earn more money than you usually make. Look at Cryptopia exchange, it has a lot of shitcoin but it can gain up to 5000% for a coin, but the risk is you have to be fast to sell in profit you wanted to make or you can expect for the price that cannot make you happy (you know what I mean)

I also think that, crypto is a risky investment but if we are careful, it can take the right momentum and also luck comes over, profits will definitely come to us, I think understanding graph patterns will be very useful.

Its actually risky but it also bring your big benefit if this coin is having some whales speculating the price . You just have to wait for right time to sell out. However there is some potential coin growing up so you can hold it for long-term. In my opinion, we should invest safety so buying the coin which is in top 20 is my choices. But the price of alts is almost reach to bottom. Its time to buy whatever coin you liked.

You know, sometimes cryptocurrencies. who are not in the top and are in the shade. As a result, they bring much more. rather than the most popular and supposedly promising. Therefore, cryptocurrency as a lotto. Here who is clever and clever is always ahead.

That is a very risky move if you will buy below the top 100 cryptocurrency , because of the strong competetion now in the marketplace , this coins below the top 100 might be risky if you will prefer to invest in this coins because those coins are not yet very stable and this coins may have the chance to be eliminated in the coin market

I also think like that, if you invest your money in altcoins that are not included in the top 100 coin market cap, then it will be very risky for your finances.

Top 200 of coinmarketcap has pretty impressive solid projects as Storj, Iconomi, Credits, MAN, Storiqa and more. These assets could be easily 5-10% of your portfolio.

I don't think you have a higher chance to lose your money! You have to know the project and believe in it, when you invest your monet! There were couple of examples, when even top 50 had been failed and went bankrupt, so think twice before you invest! Whole cryptocyrrency market is experiencing difficulties, so know your price targets and of you go and invest
