Of course, it is a risky move. Coins from that category have not shown their abilities so the chance of losses is larger than it could be with the more reliable coin.

I dont think so. But you should be carefull to choose your coin. If it has a good product its not important to be in top 100. And also a good community is important for investment.

There is no risk at all. That a coin is not amongst the top 100 cryptocurrencies doesn't mean it won't be of greater value in the future. so there is no risk at all my friend

I have only a few coins not in the top 100 (I do not think the shitcoins, which are useless, only real projects). However, they were not always there, but fell out of the top-100. I believe in them, because they have reached certain heights, they have real support and real team. Of course, I will not disclose them. This is your own business, I am not your personal adviser.  Grin

Risks of course more than if you would invest in Ethereum , but I think there are promising projects in which you can earn and they are not yet in the top

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

Definitely not, there are alot of great projects out there above top 100, that just doesn't have enough exposure yet, or team hasn't been working on marketing so they are slowly developing their project in silence Smiley I'd rather say, there are quite few risky investments in top 100, which are only shilled and might dissapear from top list or even end up as complete scam. I got my investments in few >100 projects and I'm being very bullish on them, because they are up do date with their roadmap and just getting their product ready, and once product is finished they will start with marketing, which is actually the way it should be.. and not those shills and pump and dump scheme on projects that doesn't even have product ready yet...

I agree that the coins that not in top 100 can still be greater in the feature. However, buying those is more risky than buying the coins in top 100. The coins in top 100 has survived for a long time in cryptocurrency market, so it make sure they are not scam.

I guess, risk is more/less the same for below top40 coins, as any dev can drop the project anytime and in most such shitty coin - they have single lead dev, others are just satellites.
That`s why, strong team is needed behind any project

Not really. Still there are promising coins that not top 100 in crypto currencies rank (I'd say it's on coinmarketcap). Probably they are still new and needs time to make their project becomes bigger or there are some sort of problems that happen to those projects. There is nothing impossible in this cryptocurrency world.

Yes, it is risky to buy cryptocurrency which is not top 100 because the market is unstable and very risky can make you lose.

Many promising projects are not included in the first hundred only because they initially had a low capitalization and now it has fallen several times more.Teams of such projects work hard and develop them So in the long term success will not be long in coming.

Yes i think it’s very risky to buy not top 100.
It is good if you buy top 10 coins. If not, we can’t make sure that coins will give you more profit.
Top 10 coins are more profitable and more trusted because many investor has invest on them

That is why you have to invest a lot of your time (and expertise, experiences etc.) into exploring projects that are under the radar and could potentially push their way into the top 100. But if you prefer keeping it safe (or better put, safer), stick to the top 50 coins and you have a lot less chance to get burned.

It seems to me that today, the risk is less, why? Because the prices on the market are very, very convenient to start investing, so I think that the risk today is less than usual, especially less than when the price of BTC was about $ 20,000

Depends on how much you invest. If the invested amount is obtained as a bounty bounty reward, it's worth investing in the ICO. It's a little risky, but you can have profits 50 times higher if you're inspired and informed. If you invest a large amount, it's good to invest them in a stable, top coin. There is no such risk if you invest in a TOP currency and profits will definitely come in the long run.

No it is not so risky not to buy a top 100 coin. Because there are more tokens that is not in the top 100 pumping up to 200%. I can prove it to you, i experienced it, buying coins and hold it a month and the tokens pump up to 200%.

I would not have been so well configured to talk about those projects that are not in the top 100. This means that people have little interest in them, and investors can manipulate them as they want.

Now there are very few people who continue to invest in new projects. But in fact, now is a very good time for investment. Anyone who knows how to choose projects will always find something suitable for himself. As for me, I chose a project whose signature I have now, because I'm more than sure that this project will make me rich in a year or two.
