Great video from Blockchain Academy
How to Not Destroy Millions In Ethereum Smart Contracts
In this event, we focused on Solidity, the prevailing framework for Ethereum smart contracts, diving a little deeper by iterating and elaborating on famous bugs that were reported by the developer community as well as during the professional experience of the speaker, Leonid Beder.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xv7JNIBYR7A
that's great video well in the very end of 2018 ethereum have competitors
and eth coin team have to make eth network more establish fast and stable
its price is now up to 600$ this time eth doing really good because last time in Feb Mar eth price was down and under 400$
community is now supporting eth more and more

I feel like at this point in the game, asking such a question is like asking "What are the influences of the US on the world economy?".

...it's just such a huge question. You'd be better off just googling on the topic for an hour and reading up. No one will be able to give you better info than you'll gain in that hour.

So ETH is going to use sharding to increase transaction speed?

Cobra in this post pretty much sums up the current state of ethereum scaling https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.msg38125804#msg38125804
I like sharding since it's onchain but we need to wait some time before it actually becomes practically viable.
In the meanwhile it's good that more and more developers are starting to invest time in offchain solutions, like Raiden and the new promising Striim. Thinking like a capitalist, Raiden has had a great success and hubii/striim will probably follow. Which is going to be a great thing for ethereum as more and more teams will become interested in doing their part to improve the ethereum network.

Agreed.
Imagining a future where ethereum network will be aided by internal solutions like sharding and multiple external offchain ones such as Raiden and Striim makes me think it will be the #1.

Eth + onchain scaling + offchain scaling will make ETH the king.

Ethereum's community model is relatively mature, which is very helpful for the development of coins, so firmly holding ETH will have a good return.

Ethereum has entered a new adjustment cycle, and this adjustment target will be around $488. I have already prepared some USDT to wait for this price to buy.

I don't think it will go below $500. There will just be too many people jumping in to use the opportunity and get a good entry point.

You never know what the goals of the big guys in this game are. If they want to see the price go below $500, they will make it happen.

The true explanation is that  in the past two years  there has formed a critical mass of new and ambitious exchanges capable of market manipulation. They can move ETH price in either direction.

To be honest I don't have any hope any time it will surpass the father of this ecosystem. Ethereum will have more tough competition so many alternative is about to ready to provide more better services let's watch what future will bring to this community.

But that doesn't work without risk even for the big guys. It also isn't possible for all the big guys to cooperate, so one big guy might crush another one. The market isn't big I know, but it's not so tiny anymore and pushing it in one way or the other can be risky.

BCH seems to be a very marketing-heavy project, whereas Ethereum is starting to get more and more third party implementations such as the previously mentioned scaling solution like Raiden and Striim, plus can count on a very active development community which is non motivated by self-interested.

A distributed system attempts to access an API data source, but since the nodes need not execute the instructions simultaneously, the data provided by the API can yield different results. Hence you need to build some kind of time to API value lookup table; formally called oracle.

well i like striim scaling scaling.
ethereum is developing more and more and they sould because in future there will be competitors of eth
so who have the best development implementation and up to date will be the #1 but for now BTC remains up from eth
and i think eth network is already huge and far beyond from its competitors in developments

Many ICO going to run their main net in upcoming time. So i think they start dumping ETH to convert to fiat for their development purpose. And combine with this bearish market.

Just bought ETH, it fell, so I bought. I still believe ETH will move like BTC. Now, on our country, you can change ETH directly to our local money. Before you can only exchange BTC to our local money. But now, you can. So, I believe that these central banks are now allowing ETH to be one of the most trusted coins on crypto. That's what I think.

The right choice if you have to bring the ETH to fiat, because that's where the safest place for now, the possibility of falling worse so it can get a lot more when buying.

but what if this is already the dippest? I really have a hard time making analysis on fiat/crypto market. I am closely eyeing on ETH as I am planning to buy more. I haven't sold and make cut loss on my previous holdings as I felt long term is still very healthy here.

In which country you are living where central bank is allowing people to buy directly from bank account. This is breaking news I'm not aware of this kind of revolution if that is happening than it is good sign for the great future of this token.
