Anyone knows what is happening with poloniex?
In poloniex ,i never passed the limit of 2000$ par day (( tier 1 )) Now they locked my account and they force me to enter to tier 2 verivication level for to be able to withdrawal my holdings! Be careful.....
(Sort of off topic, I did send them some ETH) Yeah they just froze a $200 BTC withdrawal of mine for 24 hours for no reason, after hours of trolling the trollbox I finally got a mod to unlock it. I haven't used this exchange in years and probably won't for years to come after that. Cryptsy 2.0 IMO.

I saw a constant stream of people asking why their withdrawls had to be "authorized" while I was bugging the mods. Fuck Cryptsy this is Mt. Gox tier behaviour. Time for proof of solvency Polo. ..

Hyperledger Absorbs The Ethereum Virtual Machine Via Monax Hyperledger has finally achieved its goal of absorbing a piece of Ethereum. The project’s original attempt to acquire the Ethereum C++ client failed after Gavin Wood blocked the relicensing effort. For a project to join Hyperledger, it needs to be under the Apache 2.0 open source license, as all other projects in Hyperledger use that license. There have been over 100 enterprises absorbed by Hyperledger but Monax is the first to submit a codebase with a piece of Ethereum in it. Formerly known as the Eris DB blockchain client, Burrow (as it’s now being called) contains the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which is meant to allow Monax to run executable distributed code contracts (EDCCs). Fake news spam
I support ETC but seriously, your FUD is just fucking annoying.... The sad news is, he's the OP of the "official" ETC thread, yet still posts (fuds) just as much in this thread than his own ( moderated) thread. bitpop is the reason I'm happy every day I dumped my etc on the very first pump. etc has a poisonous community in my experience. Agreed. Its main purpose seems to be to troll ethereum. At first I thought it was nice to shed some of these lowlifes from the ethereum community, but it looks like most of them are Bitcoin maximalists and Monero supporters. Barry will probably have some pumps, but without a community dedicated to the technology this coin will be a pump and dump vehicle. I half expect Shillbert to be thrown in jail if he ever dares to launch that etc fund. Anyhew, go small with etc when it's low (0.0005-0.001) and sell when it has pumped 3-5x. It will probably drop right down again, so just rinse and repeat until you see Shillberts fund is "investigated".

My sister told me to buy etherum.
Clever sister. Just make sure to buy the real stuff: ETH. Not the scammy shit. ETHF is the centralized fork. ETHC is the Ethereum from the beginning. Do you say that Vitalik has created a scammy shit from the beginning? Ethereum is a series of forks you dimwit. ETC has forked since the fork that birthed that unholy critter, so according to your thinking there is no more ETC.

He knew Vitaliks sins coz Vitalik recognized him as a holy farther to whom he confessed not only of wrongdoing but of everything he had on his hugely innovative mind including but not limited to, knowledge about insider trading, price manipulations and the truth about the dao hacker. Lets say if fatman knew that Vitalik hacked the DAO which spurred the fork, he, fatman, would very fast come to realization that vitalik has plans on ETC.

It seems the Ethereum price is inverse to the bitcoin. So if you think bitcoin is in some kind of troube, it is better to buy Ethereum.

Best result of that fork is, that all those nuts have been moving away from ETH and now are rallying round ETC. It has been such a nice clean up operation.

With my short in place I feel that btc is about to descent into a bloodbath. I shorted april, 9 and been adding to shorts every day... now I feel pretty well off. Will make a fortune if prices get as low as $750. Eth could spike up harder than before during this btc selloff, so its important to re-invest all the profits made on btc shorts into eth and double what I have already doubled. Means I will quadruple my money or better.

Tried to install the Ethereum Wallet yesterday.
It seems to have a serious first start issue. If for any chance it get's the wrong nodes on first start up it is stuck at around 3 mil open blocks. It always sees a few nodes 1 to 3 and the 3 mil change up and down but never synchs.
After fighting it a few hours I backed up my files and wiped all files except the one in keystore. (I found no option/console to tell ethereum to resynch the block chain or do anything for a recovery!?) Installed it again and now it synchronizes finally.
Question: Is my passwort and the file in the Ethereum/keystore the only file I need to backup or do I need to backup more?
I still haven't figured out what Ethereum is really usefull for... but seems a lot see a value in it so I best don't ignore it completly. I need it for diversifications.
