CoinDesk exclusively reported this week that the UN's World Food Program (WFP) wants to leverage cryptocurrencies like ethereum to transmit financial aid to impoverished areas. I'm new to the crypto currency world and I'm researching the many different projects out there. I think ethereum is a great blockchain and I guess that's the reason other projects offering the same.

Can somebody explain to me what the main differences between NEM and Etheruem are? NEM claims to have better scalability and security, what is your view on this? Do you think ethereum has scalability issues and if so how will they be resolved?

Ethereum is more advanced platform to launch dapps on it but I don't think this thread is important at this stage when ETH got very big adoption.
