So as I've posted earlier, i originally got my account hacked but btc-e was able to return the account back to me. I contacted btc-e on skype at btc-e.support. It seemed fishy from the beginning because I just don't trust anyone. SO ANYWAYS, the guy on skype basically was asking me to change the email to a temporary email that they will create. Doesn't that sound like a scam? So i thought its a 100% scam and said no. The guy says I will suspend and disable your account when "my boss comes online". So after a day later, my ip is banned and my account is suspended. Like wtf? Did he somehow manage to screw with my account or is this real btc-e support im getting? Someone please help,  I just want my money.

I just dont know how he had the power to ban my ip or suspend my account, maybe doing something with my ip or making something suspicious? He was threatening me from yesterday to change the account email to the one "they will create". It has to be an attempt to steal my account because btc-e wouldnt ask the user to change the email, they can change it. Ugh this is so frustrating, all i need is my account and money back.

looks like im having the same problem as this person: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345226.0

I guess the "hacker" somehow got my ip banned and got my account suspended under suspicion of hacking.

Waiting to hear from btc-e.  Huh

I need to keep posting because I am going nuts. All of my money is in the account.

Here how the convo started before my account was suspended and I got ip ban. Maybe someone on the inside working to steal couple accounts? I dont know what else to think, this would sound as a simple scam.

I've been talking to btc-e.support on skype. I thought he was a scammer but he said he was going to ban me and suspend my account if I didnt do what he wanted and he did do it so that makes me believe hes not a scammer. I was contacted by nikola through their skype, he said he will help me resolve it and get my account back. I still have some hope to get it back.

You should ask him for the guy who banned you's info and you should tell him to tell heir boss to investigate that guy.Smiley

I have a lot more respect for BTC-e after skimming this.  Seems to me that they did pretty much everything right, and I'm sure that support was tearing their hair out dealing with someone so clueless.  Been there, done that, but thankfully it was a loooong time ago.

Sounded to me like the support guy wanted to set up a quick throw-away e-mail account.  The advantage of this would be that if your real e-mail account was compromised (highly likely) then the attacker would have some work to intercept messages sent through the new one.
