Buying both is good to minimize big losses. When bitcoin is down, there are still altcoins which are capable of growing up. You just have to do more research to be able to choose the right one.

I will buy 30% Bitcoin and 70% Altcoins. Bitcoin and Altcoins now have low price so I think I can have profits by buying both Bitcoin and Altcoins when bull market coming. Altcoins can give you up to 500% profits while Bitcoin can't do this.

You do not have to be confused to choose what you want to buy. Make sure you buy both, because the investment rule in the market is never invest all your money into one altcoin. So let's control the investment by investing 50% in bitcoin and 50% in the altcoin you like.

Alternative coins are more profitable. I have not seen bitcoin raise up to 200% within two days but this happen frequently with some alternative coin, investing in alternative you need to watch the coinmarketcap always to know when it is appreciating so that you can sell, alternative coin can be dumped at any time. Bitcoin is good for long term investment.

If you want a small trade profits then go  with altcoins since it is abundant in the market. The thing about bitcoin is the volatility and time, timing of price wherein from 0 to 100 or 100 to 0, so called fluctuation. Both are profitable but then again the expected profit for bitcoin with a long time span is massive, just like last year's reached.

there are some situations you needed to understand first before investing, especially in this bear market, if investing in bear market, its better to buy bitcoin than altcoin, because the price of altcoin in the value of bitcoin might drop if the price of bitcoin will increase.

Everyone has their own opinion and the decision is not the same all the time cause sometime it's good to buy BTC but sometime it's better to buy altcoin . At the moment, I think it's no matter if you're going to buy BTC or altcoin, the problem is how long you can hold . Any altcoin is created by some kind of project. How can you ask about all the altcoins? There are altcoins that will bring you a profit, because the projects that have released them will be successful. There are altcoins that will bring you losses, because the projects that released these altcoins are working poorly. If you do not want to study and analyze projects, buy yourself bitcoin and wait until its price becomes 100k$.

Bitcoin is very expensive although it is profitable but  it is very risky to invest in one crypto , so for me it is better also to invest different altcoin but you must to choose atleast top five altcoin like ETH, LTC, BCH, XRP, NEO coin .

I think both of them are good buys but if you have little budget better accumulate Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the top coin, it is a good store value than any other coins and the wide use coin in the cryptocurrency market.

Altcoin is better to buy if your money is not enough to buy Bitcoin but if you can afford it then buy BTC because it can give you higher profit. Or its better if you divide your money to buy both Bitcoin and Altcoin, so that you have you will gain more profit.

Yes i agree but we don't have to depend only on Bitcoin. Today lot of new Altcoins are hitting the market like Ethereum,Litecoin,XRP.. which holds good market value.  Investment rule on market is not only investing on one coin. So Invest 30-40% on bitcoin and remaining on other altcoin will help you in earning profit.

If you will going to ask me both of that coins has its own potential in the market to rise.. if you can have this two why not you don't need to choose between them because both of it is great.. the only things you need to do is to take a risk because investing in some altcoin today is really risky unlike in bitcoin..

Both coins are better to invest but it depends on what type  of investment you want to do. Bitcoin is the best to invest if you want long term investment. It also give you a huge profit. Buy bitcoin now since price is still dump and low. Hold it for a long time until price will rise to the moon, then sell it. While, if you want a short and fast income go for altcoins. Their are ICO projects that has a promising platforms and you can get not so high profit but monthly.
