I think its funny how these new coins try to beat nxt distribution with all these mad ideas on how to keep it fair. But none of them succeed. Take nem for example sock puppet accs, exo has the same problem with the 1st level 2nd level 3rd level investments. Looks like nxt did alright.
Oh by the way im in on exo regardless of distribution this only matters to those that missed out learned this with nxt

Nem has at least 1500 unique accounts and a strong community right from start. That's what success means. Sock puppet accounts have never been an issue to me.
Nxt IPO was fair in its own way and nem did not intend to be "fairer" than nxt. You can stop speculating on what nem trying to do because beating some other crypto in any aspect isn't one of them.

Agreed. Something that I deem more important than a solid launch is resilience. Without that, a coin will never last. NEM most certainly had the former and i have no reason to think it will not have the latter, either.

I also forgot to state in my original post that a communication especially from Exo_coin was perfect. He had patience and answered all the questions, but we should keep in mind that these answers were merely promises. If we look at this perfect communication from a negative side one might say that he will get a nice reward for his patience and perfect communication, over $35,000 guaranteed as we speak, if this is a scam.

I think this is a bit of a stretch. Although he's done rather well to make things as clear as possible, there's still far too many unanswered questions and honestly, i was expecting more activity from the Exo team to quell any legitimate concerns.

For example, the whole process of ensuring Stake 1 holders get more for their BTC over Stake 2. This process hasn't been made completely clear.

The fact that Exo_Coin has been a bit quiet of late also troubles me a little. But i guess time will tell.

There will always be complainers.
Frankly, I'm amazed by the amount of activity that NEM generates. If you can get people *involved* with the coin instead of just having people hoarding them, that's a very good sign.

People looking for a "perfect" launch are searching for the mystical Land of Free Pie.
i may have been misunderstood whith my comment. I wasnt bashing any coin im an investor with nem along with exo. I was merley stating all the ipos refer to bettering the distribution that nxt had. Thats all. And so far i havnt seen a reason to believe any of these ipos have had better distribution than nxt had. I mean even if you have a few thousand investors from btt its still not fairly distributed is it we have 7 billion ppl on the plant a few thousand btt members is not truly distributed is it?
I wish all the ipos good luck epsecially nem as i feel it has more to offer than any 2.0 clone

Ah yes. I agree completely.
If all you have is the same code and only differ in your AIM for "better distribution", you are just being silly.
"Better distribution" is a dream and not a business plan in itself.

You do  have a really  think skin. You removed someone from the stake list because he said something you didn't like.

Sorry, but that is really bad bad start to Nem

Hardly the right thread for this. The NEM community has already expressed a 50/50 stance on the individuals removal. This does not show a mob mentality and if anything, a very diplomatic stance towards the situation.

With this in mind, the person in question made posts with strong implications they wish to have no part in it. Sure, perhaps UP acted a bit rash, but the offer to reinstate his stake is there, so stop making an issue where there is none; as long as the offer still stands for him to reclaim the stake, this argument is absolutely feeble. The choice is his if he'd rather continue his tirade or actually reclaim his stake.

Back on the subject thread, i'm disappointed to still not see any response from any of the eXo team, and honestly i lose faith with each passing hour as long as nothing is heard. The only consolation is the fact the BTC/LTC funds still remain in the original fundraising accounts.

Ye dont wanna jump to conclusions here but it is very quiet on the devs part here. Please respond and answer ppls questions. The only other reason is maybe they are busy writing the whitepaper? But im sure a quick update and message from the devs would be nice

This should not be a question of voting. Rules were set. No one should be able to change the rule and remove people after the fact, even with voting.

Lets be clear that only one person is running the show there .. so it really doesn't matter what people "voted" or what anyone else said.

I just want to add tht of the exo coin dev is a scammer hes a daft one. Because so much more funds could be generated by following through with the creation of exocoin than just scamming 50btc from investors. Think about it

Sorry, but that is really bad bad start to Nem

He said he was "interested" because he did not realize how NEM turned out to be. So he "joined in" by a mistake. So I corrected that and he was given a choice again. Similarly,  that applies to any people who ask for a refund. NEM is not selling stakes so there is no contract that you would have a stake if you say or do something.

That is how NEM will operate and read this post carefully before you think otherwise https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426303.msg5283736#msg5283736

The voting is unofficial made by a NEM member. It doesn't affect my  decision but I will take input from that poll. YES, I am running the fundraising on behalf of the development team.

It is my responsibility alone to uphold the social contract and principle in the first page of the fundraising. It is not a democratic decision. But people have a choice to participate or leave.
