Why long-term trading!

I agree with what you said. Long term trading is suitable for people who cant frequently monitor the market or dont want to have headaches when the market is not what they expected it to be.

I've been a long term hodler for more than a year now and I chose this strategy because this is the best that suits me as I also have day job.

Short term or long term I believe they are profitable and it will depends on the trader itself how to manage their investment. Choosing the right coin and timing when to sell is important regardless what strategy to use.

Holding for the long term is simply the best strategy so if you care about making money, and I suppose that as an investor you care about such a thing, then you need to hold for the long term, I know that not everyone likes to do it and they prefer to trade for the short term, but the amount of effort you need to do, the fees and the taxes you need to pay make it a strategy that very few can employ successfully.

Same as situation now. I prefer long-term trading because I need to save up fiat through tokens. That encourages me to do so because I have dreams to fulfill and I don't want to keep dreaming only I need to make it and prove it that cryptocurrency is worth fighting for my dreams,my goals. Though,honestly I almost give up but then I continue because life must go on no matter what the situation of cryptocurrency and I chose this life.

In trading, there should always be a goal if a person bought a coin for 10 cents and, according to his analysis, should sell 15, then you need to sell or put a stop-loss when the price is 15 cents.

In longterm trading the chances that you get more profit or high profit is very high because mostly the coins needs few years to increase the price. In shorterm you can get only some profit because it takes only few months. But it depends to the coin that you hold also.

Of course you can disagree with me.  I myself trade short-term, and have a long-term portfolio. However, statistics say that long-term trade is more profitable.
I'm not saying that day trading is not profitable on it you can earn as much, but it is not suitable for everyone without experience will not earn much on day trading.
When there is experience in trading then you can trade short-term, my opinion.
Last year, I traded short-term and missed the opportunity to earn a lot. This is why I like longer-term trade.

Long term trading is very good because it gives you enough time to make good corrections  that might arise after you bought the coin, in long term trading, you can make more profit because the price of the coin will rise far above the amount it was when you bought it initially. In long term trading, you do not need to monitor the coin every time unless at your leisure time.

By doing long term trading can gives you good profit rate but ofcourse it entails of patient to hold your coins. As long you are in the right moves to hold it you can be successful to earned. Sometimes I don't have time to short term trade so usually I'm one of those who does on long term hold.

Lol but you are right, the problem is that many people after making a bad trade sell immediately their coins, that is fine if you are really a short term trader but if the coin in which you invested is good then there is nothing wrong with holding for sometime and see if the coin recovers or if it gives you profits in a longer term, many of the losses that traders suffer could become winning trades if they just waited for long enough.

There is still time for you to learn and try the most idealistic way of earnings. Patience is very important as a trader, only those whoa have these certain attitude might only survive. A lot of people tried these thing but some of them just failed due to lack of courage and of being impatience.

Because long term holding pays off much higher in returns. With short term trading you can buy free lunch but with long term trading you can find yourself buying whole new car or similar big things..

Definitely, due to expertise and long engagement in the same field they find out that there is something they got from holding. Of course, crypto are quite moving and its price going high also most probably it could be x2 or more for the next year.(what a big profit).

Ethereum ,Bitcoin and other top 10 alts is a long term projects except for a fork like BCH. But you have to take into account the coin you are investing with because it might be a dead coin so even if you bought it at a cheaper price, it might not go back up again even if the crypto market recovers and you will just hope that the coin would be pump. Bad thing is that you will be stagnant in a coin for a long time if you made a mistake in choosing a dead coin. If possible, choose the coins that have been long standing and has bigger trade volumes since most likely they are active coins and the team behind it too. If you choose and ICO then better monitor its progress all the time since the team has yet to prove its ability to develop the project.

Yes, you are right for a long-term trade all coins do not fit.
I generally trade coins with a large capitalization, it is best to trade on the top 10 - 30 by coinmarketcap.
