Solo mining:
1. Setup your GOATCoin.conf file in the %appdata%
Your conf file should look like this

2. To solo mine run the GOATCoin wallet as -server in the command prompt
3. Run cgminer with the command

Most alt-coins are created randomly and people mine then dump them striclty for profit. GOATCoin is here to change this. GOATCoin will encourage but certainly not enforce users to take pride in the coin by doing the following:

The GOATCoin devs consist of 5 men. Together we came up with a plan to motivate users to take pride in GOATCoin. Throughout 2-3 months we will come up with different goals for GOATCoin. If each goal is completed a massive reward will be offered on a certain day. Massive rewards will reward users on certain exchanges, mining pools, game sites, etc. (We pick where the reward takes place at random, but our "Hero Exchange" will always be used for rewards.) Keep in mind that goals will be pretty big goals. In order to be the Greatest Of All Time you have to go big or go home  Wink Massive rewards typically will reward active users. If your not active, most likely you will miss out. The main reason the devs and I are doing this is to see if a community can come together/work together and to see what can be accomplished. This coin is more of an experiment to show other alt coins that anything and everything is possible if EVERYONE works together. Everyone being the miners, buyers, holders, exchanges, etc.



We currently have three goals. First goal is for GOATCoin to be worth more than 0.05btc in one month. In order for this to happen miners must mine, and list their coin for a reasonable price. This prevents people mining just to dump for profit. Take pride in GOAT. If this is accomplished in one month or less the first ever massive reward will take place. And when I say massive, I mean massive. If the goal isn’t reached no reward is given and we proceed to the next goal. After the 2-3 month period GOATCoin will be given to a trusted member in the crypto community. This person must show responsibility and want to further GOAT.  

The future of this coin is determined by the community. I think this will be a fun experiment. After the first massive reward I bet many people will want part in this coin, I can almost guarantee it.

-We need games created for GOATCoin
-Nice block explorers
-mining pools (one of the most most most important things. Due to GOATCoin being sha, a lot of mining power from asics is out in the wild)

Basically anything that will help develop GOATCoin.

The release wasn't today. The release was yesterday mate. There was only 200 block premine
