I'm going to have to go back in time to catch some sleep as soon as possible, but a small update is in order: both nodes are still alive, and the P2Pool network (.. consisting of those nodes, but still a network!) is hashing at a rate of ~ 900 GH/s - about 300 ASICMiner usb edition! It still seems to have its hick-ups, but I feel confident that it will survive until I have successfully rebooted (i.e. slept & had coffee). By now the address goatcoin.p2p.0x0a.nl:22646 should have propagated around quite a bit to point towards the new node, but to be sure you can use 149.210.168.71:22646 . Keep strong, me GOATies!

p2p.0x0a.nl for all your Cryptographic Anomaly, Cypherfunks, FryCoin, GameCredits, Gulden, PenguinCoin, and TittieCoin p2pool nodes! Err.. I mean needs! .. Both.

to solo mine u say add server returns ,Method not found (code -32601) what am i doing wrong please windows 7 btw

You're doing something wrong mate. Drag the wallet into command then hit the space key then type -server
(Make sure you have your GOATCoin.conf file setup before you do this)

Then run cgminer (I do is by typing cd desktop/cgminer)

Cgminer will then be in your command box so now you just type in he URL to start solo mining GOATCoin!

Obvious pump 'n dump coin.

No intrinsic value, poorly written description and no differentiation.

Welcome to the world of altcoins. But what intrinsic value does Bitcoin have?

Got it! For some reason the peerblocker program does not like your wallet.

The only other wallet I had an issue with is unobtanium and I got that to work eventually.

I run dozens of wallets no problem otherwise.

Read the node in your first post of this thread. It has the number I used, not the node you mentioned.

Edit: solo-mined a block already! :-D

Great find! That explains why people were having problems solo mining. The official node I created is 69.90.132.127. Thanks for finding that issue! Post your GOATCoin address, I'll send you a tip

That's great! What's your hash? You're a life saver for finding that. So many people were saying solo mining wasn't working and I couldn't figure out why... Simple error on my side
