First of all the coin is only a few days old.  The pump and dump people are gonna rush in and abandon ship shortly after it reaches an
exchange and they have sold off.  If you have faith in a coin just stick with it, it might take months or more for it to gain real value.

Secondly I was wondering if the diff is set to a number of blocks.  Now seems the big miners have gone and left diff at 16 so its gonna
take for ever to find the blocks that are going to lower the diff.  Is that a correct assumption?

If coin stuck at difficult 16, may be dev will change difficult retarget algorithm like a lot of coins did already to surrive big rig and multipools raping coins? So difficult can change every block.

Or more people have to start mining this coin, but to be honest it starts to look abandoned.

I've offered the dev to help a bit but no reply yet. I think it could have potential and would be nice if a percentage of the pre-mined coins where converted to fiat and donated to a charity, publicly viewable with proof, when the coin hits a major exchange.

16288 is the last block mined.

Another one bites the dust! Not exactly a pump and dump, seeing as it didn't really move any big numbers, but certainly seems to be a stagnant coin. Hopefully we'll see a resurgence at some point, although I'm not holding my breath on that... I'm guessing it was too much work for the dev to keep up with.

Client is probably assuming (reasonably) that if the last block it knows about is more than X hours old it may not be fully synced.

The last block minted was 16288 which was about 2 1/2 days ago. Seems to be the entire network that has ground to a halt, not just your client.

Looks like retargeting is every 2016 blocks; last retarget was around 160 blocks ago, so it's going to be a LONG time before the next retarget point is reached, especially with lack of interest due to a difficulty of 16, and the loss of the exchange. Looks like pretty much everyone has stopped mining it, even the dev? (You can find around 1.25 blocks per MH per day at diff 16... not hard, probably just not worth it.)
