I read this thread for Wafflepool related news. I'm not interested in DMD, or your pool for that matter. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm tired of these posts. Finger poised above the Ignore button...

Hello I love this pool, but the last months or so I only use it as a backup because you do not provide NIST5 switching. I know x11 is top right now (well... scrypt-N if you don't mind the power&heat issues that comes with it) but there are a lot of times where NIST5 is top profit, for that reason I switched to another pool which has X11, X13 & NIST5 autoswitch algo (sgminer5). so i ask poolwaffle: do you plan to add nist5 to autoswitch with x11?( plz say yes )

Just bought a 1MH/s Hashlet from Gaw Miners and in the ZenCloud I can point it at WafflePool. Having read other forums about ZenCloud in the past day or so, none of the other multipools (Multipool, Nicehash) have been made aware of this, or at least been formally approached. Assuming this may be the case here too? Just an FYI.

I don't know about yall, but X11 isn't profitable below 0.00017 BTC/1MH for me. This is with 750TIs and $0.10 per KWH. I am better off buying bitcoins at the exchanges.
After months of mining scrypt and eventually X11/X13 on wafflepool. I have had to shut the rigs down.
Anyone else run the numbers?

You are assuming the hashlets are mining.

You are assuming the hashlets are mining. Yep, nice call. I'll give you that! I'm still a bit dubious about it so only bought 1MH (US$16) to see what the fuss was all about. If I give the benefit of the doubt, you do get to choose where to "mine", so you would be fairly safe to assume that some mining is being done somewhere though. It is GAW selling the product, so it's not some fly-by-night bunch of cowboys - they move a fair bit of kit - and the only other way I can see revenue generated is via a ponzi style setup which I seriously doubt, given the legitimacy of GAW. Would definitely be very interesting to get a bit more transparency though. Profit yesterday was .00061BTC/MH/day (mining ZenPool) which seems about right, give or take. Interestingly though, profitability using the hashlet is quite a bit lower when pointed at alterative pools such as WP, NH and MP. Sadly, mining WP via a hashlet doesn't produce profit anywhere near this (think it was around 0.00035). At any rate, it will be interesting to see how profitability continues to track. Anyone got a hashlet pointed at WP that they would be willing to track for a few weeks, profitability-wise?

You need at least 0.005 to get paid, or 0.0005 on a Sunday. I'm not sure if payments from different algos are integrated yet or not, but in either case you are close to getting paid today or tomorrow.

Shuting down my GPU rig, costing me more then I'm making at the moment Question is: Keep the GPU´s or sell them while I still can get some cash/LTC/BTC for them (3pcs ASUS R9 280X TOP) Do you guys think any new super profitable algo for GPU´s is possible in the future?

Sadly this is a decision only you can decide on. Have they made a ROI? if not, and you sell them, will they then make a ROI? Barring some big demand for altcoins, using GAWminers for mining and just buying btc/ltc every month looks like the way to go. Although I'd like to see the GAW pool's btc/mh/day.

I know Yes they have made ROI a long time ago. I will think about it and see what I'll do.
